God Provides the Resources—You Steward the Creation
Too often, we pray for finished products when God has already placed the raw materials within our reach. The reality is: God doesn’t make furniture—He gives you trees. It’s up to us to see beyond the tree and recognize the potential within it. Everything you need to build, grow, and create has already been placed around you. Your role? Steward it well and work it! 1. God Supplies the Resources—You Develop the Vision 📖 Genesis 1:28 – “God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.’” From the very beginning, God gave Adam dominion over creation. But dominion does not mean passivity—it means stewardship, leadership, and work. God didn’t hand Adam a house, a farm, or a business—He gave him the resources and the command to cultivate them. 2. Your Blessing is in Your Work, Not in Wishing 📖 Deuteronomy 8:18 – “But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” Notice—God gives the ability to produce, not the finished product. Many times, we look around and say, “God, I don’t have enough.” But God is saying, “You have what you need—look again.” The tree in front of you can become a table, a house, a business. It’s not about what’s missing; it’s about what you make of what’s already there. 3. Work With What’s in Your Hands 📖 Exodus 4:2 – "Then the Lord said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ ‘A staff,’ he replied." When Moses doubted his ability to lead, God didn’t give him something new—He told him to use what was already in his hand. That simple staff became the tool for miracles. The same applies to you. Your skills, relationships, resources, and experiences are already enough when placed in God's hands and worked with faithfulness. 4. Faithfulness Unlocks Increase 📖 Matthew 25:21 – “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’”
