Ever Asked Yourself, "What's good to have in a pre-shot routine AND a POST-shot routine?"
Golf has a lot of habits. Some are old/new, some are good/bad. A pre-shot routine AND post-shot routine are one of the most important habits... YOU CAN CONTROL. Golf doesn't let you control a lot about what happens on the course but your pre/post-shot routine is the foundation for playing your best golf. Follow these simple steps to create a brief and intentional pre/post-shot routine that will help with: - confidence over the ball - avoiding mental errors - discovering your tendencies on the course. If you want the simple cheat-sheet and guide for creating a pre/post-shot routine then comment "CONTROL" below and I'll send you the link to the goods.

Do you have a swing speed or driving goal?
Driving is not everything in golf but more distance at every shot definitely changes someone's game. Too many times I measured a round by how many good drives I had. Keeping it out of the "Big Trouble" is the main thing but I want elite speed and fitness to follow that I can use now and moving forward for years. What is your driving/swing speed goal?

First you have to become consistent before you can be exceptional
I'm not talking about your swing or controlling the golf ball. Most of us have little to no control over this really. What do YOU actually have control of on the golf course? Showing up and putting in the work day in and day out. None of your friends or family care if you go to the gym or show up to practice and improve your golf game. That's only between you and your goals. You're here not because of a lack of information but a lack of someone caring about your goals and your progress. Let's get you going!!!

How to enjoy golf and play better...
Managing expectations. I know I know, you've heard this before. Have you taken a second to think about where you might have unrealistic expectations about your game or shots you can or should make? You might be surprised to find out that you are performing near or even better than your current handicap. Does your ability and level of preparation meet rise to high level of your expectations for your golf game?

Need to revisit this occasionally...
What are your Offseason goals/plans?
The offseason is actually a great time to do a few key things that you wouldn't want to attempt during mid-season... 1. Fitness Overhaul - We're talking adding mass, strength, and power. 4-5 workouts a week that have you sore and would make swinging a golf club difficult. The idea is to get to where you want to be during the season and when it arrives you simply maintain it - which is a lot easier and less taxing on your body. 2. Swing Change - How many times do you attempt swing tips and tricks you find mid-season because, now golf is on your mind and your social media feed? Pick one or two things you go after that you firmly believe will benefit your golf game and not the aesthetic of your swing. 3. Club Fitting - If there is a club you don't feel fits your game or are having difficulty with it might be worth a fitting to get things dialed in for your unique swing and abilities. A true professional can make a big difference and gives you time to dial it in before the season starts. What are you working on?
