Just finished the first section of my ADHD Snapshot and realized something: I decided I "didn't have a lot of smarts" back in second grade, and I have been carrying that verdict for over fifty years. I didn't get my answer until 63. Turns out the little girl I wanted to comfort is the one still typing these words.

Biggest insight: Seeing how my brain is trying to protect me from being hurt again by occupying me with safer activities. My open loop is: organize / clear my desk. One word for how I feel right now: Awakened
