Investing in Yourself Is the Most Valuable Move You Can Make!
One of the biggest reasons many of us joined this Skool community is because we’re committed to learning, growing, and pushing toward our goals. Yes—online connections are amazing, but there is something powerful about putting yourself in rooms where inspiration is flowing and people are taking big action. This week, I’m attending a business conference in Arizona called BBD Live, because I’m always looking for new ways to grow both personally and professionally. And even though this post isn’t directly about book publishing, it absolutely ties into the journey of becoming an author. When you’re creating something meaningful, your inspiration, network, and environment matter. If you’ve been feeling stuck or uninspired lately, maybe that’s your sign to invest in yourself—attend an event, join a workshop, or put yourself around people who talk about goals, ideas, and what’s possible. Tell people you’re writing a book. Tell them you want to be a future author. Say it out loud so you start owning it. When you share your goals with others, you bring momentum into your life. You stop keeping everything in your head and start allowing new opportunities, conversations, and creative sparks to enter your world. Another great option is to check if your area has a Skool IRL group. I’m feeling incredibly grateful that I get to present at the Chicago IRL, hosted by @Steve Gast . If you’re in the Chicagoland area and you haven’t connected with that group yet, please jump in—you never know who you’ll meet or what inspiration will hit. Also, if you're in the Milwaukee, WI area connect with @MJ Berst she is hosting a meetup there soon. Let me know in the comments:What’s one event, workshop, or in-person experience you want to attend in the next year to invest in yourself and your author journey?

LOVE. THIS. SO. MUCH. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
SCAM ALERT
Hello community I just wanted to make everyone aware that there has been an uptick in fraud on Skool communities and people who pretend to be influencers to gain your trust. Who I thought was Greg, a successful KDP YouTuber was actually a fraud. I messaged @Greg Gottfried on his YouTube channel and the real responded back to let me know it was not him and now we have the authentic person actually on Skool. Just please be mindful of who is connecting with you.

How Much Money Do You Want to Earn?
Whether you’re aiming for your first $100, your first $1,000 month, or a full-time income — your goal matters. When you put a number on it, you give yourself a target to work toward and a plan becomes much easier to build. Share your income goal below. 👇 No right or wrong answers — I’m just curious what everyone is aiming for so I can create content that actually supports those goals.

Would You Consider Using a Ghostwriter?
This is one of those topics where people tend to pick a side fast. Some love the idea, others feel weird about it. But here’s the truth most new authors don’t realize: Using a ghostwriter is not cheating. It’s a tool. And for many people, it’s the difference between wanting to write a book and actually finishing one. If you’re a busy professional… If writing doesn’t come naturally… If you have a message, a method, a story, or a framework that can help people……but you don’t have the time or skill to put 20,000–40,000 words together? IMO...A ghostwriter can be a game changer. You still get full control over your story. You can create your own outline… Share your own short stories… Guide the tone and direction… Approve everything…And make sure the final product sounds like you. Ghostwriting is just a way to speed up the process and get your ideas into the world without burning yourself out. So I’m curious — where do you stand? Would you ever consider using a ghostwriter? Why or why not? Drop your thoughts 👇
