My bible character
If I had to compare myself to a Bible character, I’d probably say Nehemiah. Not because I have it all figured out. Actually, probably the opposite. Nehemiah was a builder. He saw what was broken and decided to do something about it. That hits home for me. I’m rebuilding parts of my life—my faith, my discipline, my career, my health, and my future. There have been setbacks. There have been days I wanted to step back. But I’m learning that rebuilding takes patience, work, and the willingness to keep showing up. Nehemiah didn’t have a finished wall when he started. He had rubble. Sometimes you have to look at the rubble in your own life and decide: I’m not staying here. I’m going to rebuild. “Let us rise up and build.” — Nehemiah 2:18 What are you rebuilding in your life right now?

I've taken the quiz several times on different Bible sites, and it always come out the same: Moses. Here is what the synopsis of the character says: "You are the sacrificial leader that’s always solving problems for others. You naturally are the leader in any group you’re on and God can trust you to walk in humility and be a conduit of His presence for others. You’re not easily given to pride and in fact regularly examine yourself to make sure that you haven’t fallen out of alignment of God’s will." Mostly true. I face each day with one thought in mind: Romans 8:37 declares that in all trials, “we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” — meaning Christ has already secured an overwhelming victory for us, and we simply need to receive it by faith. During PJ Specialist teaming, we were constantly put in situations where we had to depend on team mates to pass the test. Put simply, we had faith we could get over the wall, but we had to work together to accomplish it. Groups like this are your team. There is no shame in asking for help, either from the Man above or the team member that is standing alongside.
