I’m comfortable sitting for weeks without taking a trade. Why? Because my setups aren’t supposed to show up every day. They take time to form. Sometimes, if they stretch, I might get a maximum of 8 in a month and I’m perfectly fine with that. I’d rather wait for the market to bring my setup to the crosshairs than chase something that isn’t there. But once it’s ripe? There’s no hesitation. Price walks through the crosshairs, the conditions align, and it’s time for plunder. The risk-to-reward heavily outweighs the temptation to trade every day. I’m not trying to catch every move. I’m waiting for my move. FOMO doesn’t bother me because I know another setup is being built somewhere in the market. Patience isn’t inactivity. It’s positioning. Would you rather take 20 mediocre setups or wait all month for 5–8 A+ opportunities?
