🔥 Chosen Fire is here — begin with one small ember
Chosen Fire — The Life You Reclaim now has a home here in Late Nite Campfire. I’ve opened a free guided course based on the Showcase Edition: nine written lessons, beginning with a five-minute reflection and continuing through seven stages. SEE → RELEASE → REFRAME → PRACTICE → SEPARATE → RECLAIM → GIVE This is a place to notice what matters, practice a small next step, and make room for your own voice. Seven weeks is a suggested pace, not a deadline. Start your five-line reflection here Choose your door each time: WITNESS — Read quietly. REFLECT — Write privately. MAKE — Try one small action. The lessons work without a book download. No meeting, purchase, or public storytelling is required. The First Spark and our storytelling and video classes remain available when you want to explore. One question for today: What is one small part of your life you would like to make more room for? A word is enough. “Just listening” is welcome too. This group is public, so keep sensitive reflections in your private notebook. If you comment, you can choose Listening only, Shared experiences welcome, or Ideas welcome. The fire wasn’t chosen. What you make from it can be. — Steve

New class: Create Your First Cinematic Video
Want to turn an image into a short creative video—or make fresh versions from clips you already have? I’ve added a five-lesson beginner class to our Classroom: • Choose an image and plan one scene. • Copy a gentle animation prompt. • Generate and inspect one short test. • Reuse clips to save generation credits. • Finish captions, sound, and export. Start the class here: https://www.skool.com/celestial-cosmic-compass-7362/classroom/d6256aa0?md=774a50781ee847998c7e0b7caa010d46 Optional tool used in the lessons: https://app.deal.ai/ai-movies This is the standard Deal.ai app link, not a referral link. Deal.ai is separate from this community; check the cost displayed in your own account before generating. The class also explains how to reuse existing footage or add camera movement to a still image without a new Deal.ai generation. The class is available to all community members. No purchase is required to read the lessons, and sharing your work is optional. Start with one scene and go at your own pace. What would you like to make—a campfire invitation, a cosmic scene, or a short story? Ideas welcome.

Pull Up a Chair — 3 Tools You Can Use Today
I’ve added a practical starter lesson to our Start Here classroom. No meeting, Zoom call, or schedule—open it whenever it suits you. You’ll find three tools to copy and use outside this group: 1. A five-line story card to turn an everyday memory into a short story. 2. Ready-to-use phrases for asking for listening, shared experiences, or ideas—and setting a boundary when advice isn’t wanted. 3. A SEE → NAME → CHOOSE → MOVE card to plan one small action within your control. Each tool includes an example and a short, optional exercise. Allow about ten minutes, or take your time. Your answers can stay in your own private notebook. Open the lesson: https://www.skool.com/celestial-cosmic-compass-7362/classroom/661212de?md=92e4b85bf0a84d9eb9ac8c28eed35e75 If you want to comment, try: “One tool I might use is…” Choose Listening only, Shared experiences welcome, or Ideas welcome. Reading quietly counts too. A privacy reminder: this group is public. Share only what you are comfortable making public, and do not reuse anyone else’s story without their permission. Real stories. Honest reflection. Small practical steps. Room to just listen. — Steve

What would you bring to the fire?
Imagine pulling up a chair at our campfire. What would you bring—a song, a snack, a memory, an object, or just yourself? One word or a few lines is enough. You can also say “Just listening,” or read quietly. No personal story is required. If you share, you can add the response you want: Listening only — acknowledgment, no advice. Shared experiences welcome — others may share something from their own lives. Ideas welcome — suggestions are welcome; the choice stays yours. If someone doesn’t choose, start by listening and ask before offering advice. — Steve

Start Here — One Story, Three Doors
When the old map stops working, pull up a chair. I’m Steve. Welcome to Late Nite Campfire. YOUR FIRST SMALL STEP Late Nite Campfire is our community home. Chosen Fire — The Life You Reclaim is the book and guided journey inside it. Begin with your five-minute, five-line reflection. Then explore the seven weekly lessons: SEE → RELEASE → REFRAME → PRACTICE → SEPARATE → RECLAIM → GIVE. The course is free for members and works without a book download. No meeting, introduction, or personal disclosure is required. The First Spark remains a shorter seven-day option; our story and video classes are there when you feel like making something. ONE STORY, THREE DOORS Begin here. Read a short story, then choose how you want to take part. No introduction, speaking, or personal disclosure required. THE NOTEBOOK A fictional campfire story While clearing a kitchen drawer, Alex finds a notebook with three pages filled and the rest untouched. On the first page: “Things I still want to make.” There is a sketch of a small garden, the opening of a story, and a recipe copied from a friend. Alex almost puts it back. Instead, the notebook stays on the table beside a cup of tea. Nothing has been decided. But for the first time in years, the next page is open. CHOOSE YOUR DOOR WITNESS Let that be enough for today. You can read quietly and leave without commenting. REFLECT What unfinished interest would you like to make a little room for? Keep your answer private, or share one sentence if you want. MAKE Give that interest five minutes today: write a line, sketch an idea, tend a plant, or try something small. You do not have to finish or show anyone. HELP CHOOSE THE NEXT CHAPTER What should Alex do next? A — Reopen one old idea. B — Share a page with someone trusted. C — Start something new. If you want, comment A, B, or C. You can help shape the story without sharing your own past.
