The first time I was training and met everyone at Monsters Bent Barbell: the day after Holiday Havoc- Matt predicted that I'd Iso 150. I remember that meet like the back of my hand. Austin picked me up from the airport. I met Clayton and Jen. Watched Heather dominate the platform. Watched all of my favorite juniors, who I still love. Lauren was pregnant . She and Matt took a picture with a tiny pair of Nike sneakers. Baby Lily is now here. And Austin never ceases to amaze me. Or JD. Being friends with Addy is an honor. The entire Haines family. Everyone involved with Impossible Performance. Or Monster's. You all push each other to be the best version of themselves. And that is something that I'm grateful for , at the deepest and most heartfelt level that can be expressed. It happened. And the shark was jumped. 160 Iso @Matthew Hill

46km around Laois in 1:45:18 - avg 26.4 km/h, top speed 49.3 km/h. Elevation 65-130m. Not a brutal climb day, but the effort was there - 53% of the ride in Zone 4/5. Avg HR 152, peak 195. Aerobic TE 4.6, anaerobic 3.9. Stamina went from 98% to 36% - the body was working. Feels so good to be up early and get it done.

Training.
Today, we begin the discussion on what comes out from within your Body, and this is best realized through Training. We do not prescribe to one specific style of Training, because as a great Mentor of mine once said: "Strength is Never a Weakness, and Weakness is Never a Strength..." We do, however believe everyone needs some form of training protocol, for the simple fact of Newtonian Physics. If you choose Action, it will be easier to remain in Action. If you choose Rest, it will be easier to remain stagnant, and not so slowly begin to decay... Here are some simple styles to start with: - Walking - Stretching - Hypertrophy - Strength - MetCon Try one for a week, see if you enjoy it. Try two in one day, maybe it drives you forward. The main Focus here is to start building that Momentum. 1. Click this link to watch today's video 2. Amazing pics man, great dad high five here. The weighted vest march is amazing. I absolutely love it. Zero brain required but the output and effort is huge.
