@Gregory Gross I've done 3hrs + on the trainer, but never 4. I have 2hrs tomorrow, intervals and 3 hrs End on Sunday. The forecast is dry here tomorrow and rain Sunday, so going to swap days. Either way, sounds like you are pretty determined ๐Ÿ™‚
Our January Roadmap
Wanted to share the January Development Roadmap for the community so you can all know what to expect. It's been an amazing start to the year and we've some really cool projects in the works to bring you. The ambitious aim is to get all this delivered by the end of the month.

@Blair Corey Yes most definitely Blair ! I had a few teething troubles and Vekta support were brilliant, really quick. I've no doubt any remaining issues will be ironed out pretty soon.

@Zachary Hoover No Zachary, the numbers make me sad because invariably they are crap. Considering I have done no proper training for over 6 months now I was pleasantly surprised at the metrics for CP and VO2.
When to take a recovery day
We're building out a new recovery module at the moment. It'll be based off a traffic light system When to train (green) When to remove intensity (orange) When to take a rest day (red) What are your most pressing questions around recovery? I'll sure its all covered in the new module

Personally, I think RDs Monday and Friday work for me. That said, I don't always stick to it and end up riding to how I feel when I get out of bed in a morning. Last year I loosely followed a TR road program. I completely ignored the traffic light system, the easier days ( IF 55 -60 % ) and recovery weeks. I just took an odd day off when I felt tired. For a while this worked and I made some great gains. The problem with this approach, is without always being conscious of it, fatigue slowly builds. This culminated in a 3 x 15 mins threshold session being sacked after the first interval because I was both physically and mentally cooked. My TP CTL was around 145 and fatigue 160, I had ignored this also. In the weeks after, I reduced my training load, but mentally I couldn't face any more intervals and I just rode my bike, season over in June. It is not the first time I have done this and I am left wondering will I ever learn ! When I have adhered to the 2 RDs a week approach I have stayed healthy, relatively fresh and mentally strong. I do have the luxury of time and these days the only thing on the to do list is ride my bike, so I am fortunate in this respect, but there is only so much one can do. Even now whilst writing this, I have a RD planned for tomorrow, the weather forecast is good and I am thinking just go and do few hours Z2, but I am not, I am going to behave and stick to the plan !
Daily Accountability
If this time last week someone would have suggested doing 1.5 hrs low end Z1 I would have thought they were taking the ... However, todays session was exactly that. Trust in the coaches / process !! Hope everyone manages to hit todays goals.

@Vern Loebs Jr neither did I Vern. I always thought any Z1 was a complete waste of time.
Do you service your own bike?
Curious to see who works on their own bike and who would be eager to learn?

I can do my own work, but apart from fitting tubeless tyres I take it to the local shop. All this e tubes nonsense drives me round the twist ๐Ÿ˜
