James 2:5-7
Hey @Melvin Pillay, hope you’re doing well bro. I’ve been studying the book of James and was reading verses 5–7 today, and I had a quick question. It’s essentially talking about how true wealth comes from our faith in Him—not material things or financial wealth—and how those who are poor in this world can be rich in faith. As I was breaking it down, I came across the idea that earthly wealth can sometimes create a false sense of security, which can lead to spiritual impoverishment. So I’m curious—for you, as God started to bless you financially, open doors in business, and give you opportunities to travel, were you ever tempted to boast in your own greatness? And how did you stay grounded and continue choosing to serve Him and His people?
Your Business Is Not Just a Business — It’s a Kingdom Assignment
Dear Kingdom Millionaire, You are not building a business. You are stewarding an assignment. There is a difference. In the Kingdom, business is not separate from purpose — it is one of its primary vehicles. Your company is not just a source of income; it is a channel of influence, impact, and authority. The marketplace is one of the largest pulpits in the world, and you have been positioned there intentionally. Never reduce what you are building to “just making money.” Money in the Kingdom is not evil. Money is neutral — but in righteous hands, it becomes powerful. Money is: • A gift of expansion • A measure of value created • A magnifier of influence • A resource for legacy • A servant to vision The issue has never been wealth. The issue has always been stewardship. If you misunderstand the Kingdom reason for wealth, you will either: 1. Chase money and lose purpose, or 2. Reject money and limit your impact. Neither reflects maturity. You must break free from small thinking and subtle religious narratives that quietly shame prosperity. Scarcity does not make you spiritual. Poverty does not make you humble. Limitation does not make you holy. The Kingdom mindset understands this: Wealth is not about consumption. It is about commission. You are commissioned to: • Build systems that solve real problems • Employ and elevate people • Fund innovation and generosity • Model integrity in high places • Demonstrate that influence and righteousness can coexist Your business matters because it carries: Vision. Values. Voice. Impact. And momentum is sacred. Momentum is what separates dreamers from builders. Momentum is what compounds obedience. Momentum is what turns vision into infrastructure. So do not slow down now. Do not shrink. Do not retreat. If growth feels hard, good. You are stretching capacity. If opposition rises, good. You are expanding territory. If doubt whispers, silence it with clarity of assignment. Remember why you started. Remember what was revealed to you.

Question
Hey @Melvin Pillay I hope you are well! I’m currently reading the book called Maximized Manhood and there’s a part that said “ God knows our hearts, knows our thoughts. The Devil doesn’t. The Devil hears our words, sees our actions, watches what we love, and then does his damnable best to deceive, accuse or tempt us according to what he knows about us.” Can you elaborate on this a bit more and where to find that in the Bible? It was a great revelation that the Devil doesn’t know my heart/thoughts but I had never heard of that before!

Hey @Melvin Pillay thank you so much for sharing this message! I had a question about creating those mental pictures and envisioning the future I desire. I often find it hard to slow down enough to get a clear image in my mind. Do you have any practical tips on how to quiet the noise, meditate, and strengthen that “vision” muscle so I can better picture the future God is calling me into?
