@Ronald Parada right? Sometimes I do so well at practicing regularly. Sometimes it looks more like this or a complete gap in the track till I have the time to start again.
Fret work tool recommendations
Does anyone have any recommendations for budget friendly fret work tools? Something like a good fret crowning file, fret smoothing and shining tools, etc?

@Kristopher Swenson yeah. Fret work is not very fun, but it's a skill I want to learn so I can be fully self sustainable for my guitar maintenance and setups.

@Grady Crumpler definitely! I've had more issues with frets not being level and it's always annoying trying to get them adjusted. For your pickup swaps, do you do the soldering and wiring, or do you get the pre-wired and easy install ones?
Good In-Ear Monitors (IEM's)
Does anyone use some budget IEMs that they like or recommend to people? Starting to look into this and there are so many options out there! I'm not in a band or anything so this would mainly be for playing by myself at home. Let me know your suggestions or thoughts if you don't think IEMs are the way to go!

I ended up getting some KZ ZS10 Pro IEMs and they'll come tomorrow. Excited to try them out and see if they were worth it. 5 drivers total and a lot of great reviews so we'll see how it goes.

@Rich Valencia nice! What are your initial thoughts? Do you like them?
A personal win
I recently bought a $60 guitar from Temu (shown) as a work/car guitar that I won't feel bad about anything happening to it since I only paid $60. As can be expected out of the box it was in pretty rough shape. Spent a couple of hours working on setting it up, leveling frets, etc. Brought it to work and a coworker said it felt better than his Squier strat that has had a professional setup. So that was a huge boost to my confidence in setting up my guitars and I wanted to share.

@Mitch Atkinson which pedal is it? Sometimes they come back in stock suddenly and then go out again, or show up under a different listing.

@Tobias Parent That's really cool of you! I'd love to be able to just gift people guitars so they could learn without worrying about the initial cost. For a while I 3d printed a couple of guitars and they played well and stayed in tune. Unfortunately the cost of printing it made it unlikely that people would want to pay enough for them to make it worth doing it for profit, and I wanted to focus on playing guitar more than making new ones.
Found a Band
I finally found a band that I could join if I wanted to, but they just aren't a good fit for me. The singer is the leader and he has no idea how to lead a band. He kust keeps rotating different people on different days. It's almost like he has 2 different bands going bexause he can't choose between drummrs and bass players. I also really wouldn't have fun playing about 95 percent of the songs he wants to play. Sucks, but I feel like I have to pass and keep looking, even though I have found nothing in my area that is even remotely what I am looking for.

Sorry to hear that Rich. Would you consider making your own band, trying to find people in your area? May be tough, but could allow you to play the songs you want, and it would be a good fit since it's your band?

@Rich Corey That definitely makes it tough. I've seen some Facebook groups in my area that have people who are looking for band/band mates so that could be an option if you use Facebook.
