How I Cope With Stress
Stress is something we all experience, especially when there are a lot of things going on at the same time. When I feel overwhelmed, one thing that helps me is meditation. I usually take a few quiet minutes, sit comfortably, close my eyes, and focus on my breathing. It helps me slow down my thoughts and gives me a chance to relax. I’m not an expert at meditation, but I’ve found that even a few minutes of quiet time can make me feel a little lighter and more peaceful. How do you usually cope when stress starts to build up?

@Margarette Dixon Awesome! I hope you enjoy it too
Bad mood in the morning brings disaster the entire day
I have observed that when you begin the day with a bad mood, your entire day becomes bad too. So, let's change chaos into harmony. One thing to start it good is to fix your bed when you wake up, fix your hair, and smile in front of the mirror.

It’s a brand new day to be you. For myself I give space for the bad mood. “What’s up body why are you feeling like this” and sit with this question . Normally it’s my unprocessed emotions thats ready to be seen. Then a release happens and I have more room for positivity :)

@Brewtally Awesome l Admin It really depends on where I am at mentally and how processed the emotion are to be released. If I feel really bad physically and mentally I give myself at least a hour of meditation/breath-work, journaling or voice recording. The voice recording helps me a lot about 5 minutes in I release suppressed emotions and listening to it helps me see why I am feeling that way. Normally the sad/mad energy is because I didn’t set a boundary and my needs are not being met to feel safe so the “bad mood“ is telling me to set better boundaries with myself and others. But on good days I release a Little within 5 minutes on a 10-20 minute meditation. No judgement on the emotions just witness and give yourself the safety to experience your emotions your body knows what to do when our mind surrenders control.
Surrendering into the truth
I surrendered into letting go of hiding, Identify and trauma and I remember feeling a deep sadness and pain in my heart coming out of my body. When I realized I was choosing to hold on because I got comfortable in the discomfort I let go of the ropes that was hurting me deeply. It felt like a thorny vines coming out of my heart catching on fire. Who am I when I am not people pleasing or the trauma? The truth is I am love and peace. My body is still in this between stage for letting go of learned conditioning to make room for the truth and embodying it. Little by little I know I will get there. I painted my visions and pain of what I was going through during that time. At the time I felt a lot of shame to share these drawlings but now I feel honored to be seen. Life is not always beautiful thats why its important to accept and witness the "ugly" in order to give it more love. The world needs more love on the parts thats has fear surrounding it. The story behind the paints and drawling. Letting go of fear with love. The tree - I was dealing with numbness in my right side of my body over 2 years and I remember I couldn't think straight, speak my truth, and I was crying for help because I was in pain. I surrender into the pain and felt like a tree growing out of my head and using the pain as nutrient to grow into something beautiful and free. In a way it was like a rebirth from that chapter of my life. Underwater- I surrendered deeper and felt like i couldn't breath and stuff coming out of my heart. A chain pulling me deeper into the sea of emotion. The three little fishes (my angels) telling me I will be okay keep going they are here with reminding me I am safe and ready to go deeper. In the Dark- It felt like a thick foggy mud that was hard to see what was happening. I was scared and in pain but I trusted and a bright light came and purified the fog. I can now see the truth. Breaking free- This is when i saw my past self, the one who stay quiet and still to stay safe the one who was calling me to help because it was too much. I gave soooo much love to her, listened and gave her a voice again. I thanked her for keeping me safe the best she knew how to and promise I will keep us safe from now on. I watch her break through the chain on her own and be free! She screams I AM LOVE and the light shines brightly through as peace within my heart.

Breathwork makes me feel normal and healthy
I really wonder whether I have cPTSD, or maybe i got occasional triggers that pulls my mental state down so much that I can barely function I just have done an hour of breathwork and I feel like my mind has been reset, like I just pressed the reset button, full of buzz and liveliness and sexual energy, like I wanna take on the world What must I do to keep this state of mind? I was literally feeling miserable just an hour ago, then this hour of breathwork did some magic on me, genuine magic on my mental state

Hi Chuck! I was in your shoes the reset feels great and I wanna hold onto that feeling. Finding your own daily practice is important. It helps your nervous system feel safe. The safer it feels the more you can release what no longer serves you. Everyone’s practice is different it can be a walk, breathing, meditation, drawing, yoga, screaming haha. Exploring what help you feel safe in your body :) and have fun. Like what John said it becomes automatic even with one breath you can get into that peaceful feeling with practice.
