Calling all intercessors
Please say a prayer for my daughter Zania (pronounced zuh knee ah). She was rushed to the hospital for chest pains as a result of having fluid around her heart and lungs. She is scheduled to have a procedure on Monday to remove the fluid

Praying now💕🙏🏻‼️
Manna
Good morning, daily scripture. **Matthew 11:28 (HNV)** "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." **Exegesis** Context: This invitation comes right after a hard passage. Jesus has just denounced Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum for refusing to repent despite His mighty works, then turned to prayer, thanking the Father for hiding these things from the wise and revealing them to "little children" (v.25). Out of that moment, He opens His arms to everyone the religious world has worn out: Jews crushed under both Roman oppression and the endless ledger of Pharisaic rules. Language: The key word is the Greek *anapausō*, "I will give you rest." Its root sense is to cause to pause from toil, to refresh. This is not mere sleep or an afternoon off. In the Septuagint and the New Testament, it carries the idea of settled repose, the rest that comes when the labor is truly finished and the burden is lifted from your shoulders. Here Jesus does not describe rest, He promises to *give* it, making Himself the source. Meaning for the first hearers: For them, rest was not a nap; it was freedom from the crushing demand to be enough by keeping an impossible stack of regulations. The Pharisees "bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders" (Matthew 23:4). Jesus offers the opposite: His own yoke, which fits. Application for today: The burdens look different now, deadlines, bills, the pressure to perform at everything, but they feel exactly the same. The offer has not expired. Bring the weight to Him in prayer before you pick it up yourself, and trade striving for abiding.

Amen!! True rest from our source of life!
Galatians 6:9, addresses the tension of working hard while waiting for a breakthrough. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
1. Historical & Literary Context The Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the churches in Galatia (modern-day Turkey). The believers there were getting distracted, losing focus, and feeling exhausted by internal conflicts and external pressures. In this final chapter, Paul pivots to practical, everyday living. He uses an agricultural metaphor—sowing and reaping—because his audience understood that farming requires intense labor long before any crop appears. 2. Key Keywords & Original Meanings Looking at the original Greek text helps unpack the depth of Paul's encouragement: - "Weary" (ekkakeō): This doesn't just mean physically tired. It means to lose heart, utterly faint, or become demoralized to the point of quitting. Paul acknowledges that doing the right thing and working hard is draining. - "Proper time" (kairos): Greek has two words for time. Chronos is chronological time (minutes and hours). Kairos means the appointed, strategic, or perfect season. Paul is promising that the breakthrough comes on God’s clock, not our calendar. - "Harvest" (therismos): The literal gathering of crops. Spiritually and practically, it represents the reward, breakthrough, or fruit of your sustained efforts. 3. Core Theological Truths - Delayed gratification is a spiritual law: Just like a seed buried in the dirt, there is always a gap between the time you sow your hard work and the time you reap the breakthrough. - Quitting breaks the promise: The condition for the harvest is staying in the field. The enemy of the harvest isn't usually a sudden disaster; it is the slow, daily temptation to just give up. 4. Practical Application for Your Life When you are working hard and waiting on a breakthrough, this scripture gives you a roadmap: - Normalize the fatigue: Feeling tired or discouraged is part of the human experience. The verse doesn't say "don't feel tired"; it says don't let that fatigue convince you to stop doing good. - Trust the hidden growth: Just because you can't see the harvest above the soil today doesn't mean the seed isn't growing underground. Your daily, quiet faithfulness is working. - Focus on your "sowing" today: You cannot force the harvest to grow, but you can control whether you show up to the field today. Leave the kairos (the timing) to God.

Happy 27th Anniversary to my beloved husband, Ronald Caviness! ❤️
Happy 27th Anniversary to my beloved husband, Ronald Caviness! ❤️ Twenty-seven years ago, we began a journey of learning one another, growing together, and blending our families into one. We have walked through beautiful seasons and difficult ones, and every step has shaped us, strengthened us, and brought us closer. Looking back, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the life we have built and for the love that has carried us through it all. Ronald, I thank God for you every day. You are the epitome of an Ephesians 5:25 man—a loving husband, provider, protector, and my very best friend. Your steadfast love, patience, strength, and devotion to me and our family have been blessings beyond words. I am so grateful for the way you love me, stand beside me, and continue to choose us. Through every season, God has reminded us that a strong marriage is not built on perfection, but on love, forgiveness, commitment, faith, and the decision to keep walking together. We have chosen to put God first and allow Him to remain at the center of our marriage, and I am so thankful He has guided us through these 27 years. After all this time, I still choose you. I still honor you. I still cherish you. And I still thank God for the gift of being your wife. You are my heart, my home, and my forever love. Happy Anniversary, my love! Here’s to the beautiful journey still ahead of us—hand in hand, heart to heart, and with God leading the way. I love you more than words can ever express, Ronald! 💕🥂 “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Mark 10:9
