This is going to be the first post of many sharing with you pattern I've noticed over my two decade career working with patients and clients in the functional medicine, emotional, and trauma spaces. This isn't purely observational data because for most of the last decade I consulted for integrative and functional medicine software companies, and lab and supplement companies collecting and analyzing their data as well as from my own practice. And one of my superpowers has always been noticing patterns before patterns became a buzz word recently. It's what I did as a kid and it translated well to my work as a microbiologist, functional medicine doctor, emotional and trauma guide and as a consultant. The one that always stood out to me was how many people having anxiety. It didn't matter what source I was analyzing or if they came to see me for a non-emotional or traumatic cause, anxiety was always the number one symptom or a diagnosis when I filtered the data. To me, this always pointed to nervous system, dysregulation, and held emotions or trauma. My journey with anxiety has ebb and flowed. Not much gets me anxious anymore, but I used to be extremely. What has yours been like? Please share below and I'll share mine as well.🥰
