Music for Learning Spanish
So, I am a musician and song writer and couldnt find songs that were aligning with the Layers Method in a way that I thought was the most beneficial... So, I made some (with the help of AI) and didnt want to keep them to myself. This is a sequence of songs in a playlist you can listen to on the go (no cost or subscribing) https://soundcloud.com/mystikole/sets/wait-a-second-same-words Each version of the song builds on the previous one, keeping as close to the words in each layers as I could and still have it work.... Layer 1 — WordsSimple, high-frequency Spanish words. Layer 2 — PhrasesShort phrases you’ll hear and use in real life. Layer 3 — SentencesPutting words together into natural thoughts. Layer 4 — ConversationMore complete phrases that sound like real Spanish. Final Version — All SpanishThe full flow, without English support. These are the lyric videos that it automatically generates, its not perfect but it helps me so I wanted to share it! I will share once per week my fave songs I make that I feel helped me the most, if it helps you, let me know! *ai can make mistakes on pronunciations or spellings sometimes when doing english AND Spanish so just know its not perfect* Base Lyrics that it builds on...: Verse 1 Wait a second, please Espera un segundo, por favor I'm learning Spanish Estoy aprendiendo español I understand a little Entiendo un poco But not everything Pero no todo Say that again please Di eso otra vez, por favor More slowly please Más despacio, por favor Chorus I'm learning Spanish Estoy aprendiendo español Little by little Poco a poco Word by word Palabra por palabra Now I understand Ahora entiendo Verse 2 Wait a moment please Espera un momento, por favor I want to understand Quiero entender I know a few words Sé algunas palabras But I'm still learning Pero sigo aprendiendo Can you say that again? ¿Puedes decir eso otra vez? Can you speak more slowly?

Very creative - thank you so much!
Success with the layers method
I moved to Spain a year and a half ago and have struggled with several language apps. I am 85 years old, have always had a very poor short time memory and have ADD. Puting all this together gives me a very difficult time with traditional learning methods. Layers works great for me because I can review as much as I need to get things from my short term to permanent memory. Thanks Rob

Hi everyone - so happy to be here - I have run thru so many damn apps by now and get frustrated with most of them - DuoLingo is driving me nuts with "como estas" and "como se llama" for what seems like weeks - I moved to Costa Rica a month ago and am utilizing some of the spanish i learned in school (eh! not great) and between my husband and I - I am the one who speaks to locals the most and I am so tired of freezing up (I call it glitching out lol) when I'm trying to communicate - esp in stores and restaurants - I love the concept of this program - the verbs and pronouns are sooo hard - help!!!!
