🧠 Week 2 PM Case Challenge
Every Monday I drop a real PM interview case question. You practice in the comments. I give feedback. We all get better together. No lurking allowed. 😄 🎯 This week’s scenario: You’re the PM for Duolingo’s streak feature - one of their highest-engagement mechanics. User research shows a clear pattern: users who break their streak for the first time are 3x more likely to churn within 30 days. Your team has capacity for ONE initiative next quarter. You have three options on the table: A) Streak Repair: let users restore a broken streak (1-2 days off) for a small in-app purchase or ad watch B) Streak Freeze: automatically protect streaks when a user is clearly traveling or inactive based on behaviour signals C) Fresh Start Reframe: redesign what happens right after a streak breaks to focus on re-engagement instead of loss Here’s what I want to see in your answer: - Which option do you pick, and why? - What framework or thinking did you use to prioritize? - What’s the one assumption your decision depends on most? Drop your answer below. No right answer here! I’m looking at your reasoning, not your conclusion. I’ll reply to every answer with real feedback. If you know someone prepping for PM interviews, tag them. They need this reps.

🧠 Week 1 PM Case Challenge
Every Monday I drop a real PM interview case question. You practice in the comments. I give feedback. We all get better together. No lurking allowed. 😄 🎯 This week's scenario: You're the PM for Instagram Stories. Over the last 90 days, DAU for Stories has dropped 15%, but overall Instagram DAU is flat. Your interviewer asks: "Walk me through how you'd diagnose this." Here's what I want to see in your answer: → What data would you pull first? → What hypotheses would you test? → What would you explicitly rule OUT early, and why? Drop your answer in the comments below. Doesn't have to be perfect, this is practice. I'll reply to every single answer this week with real feedback. If you know someone prepping for PM interviews, tag them here. They need this.
