3M - double-sided adhesive pads
I am currently looking for double-sided adhesive pads from 3M in small cut sizes (e.g., approximately 25 × 25 mm).I would greatly appreciate it if you could share where you usually purchase them. Any links or recommendations would be very helpful. Unfortunately, prices vary quite significantly, which makes cost calculation rather difficult. Therefore, I would be especially grateful for any suggestions regarding reliable and reasonably priced sources. Also, a quick note to you, Nils: you always seem to have access to larger bulk packs — would you mind sharing your supplier and a link here as well? 😊 Thank you very much in advance for your support.
Please share your current printer organization setups
I have three machines right now and they are spread across my living room, two on tables and one on a floor. I'm planning to get a heavy duty shelving and make a soundproof enclosure since its the room I spend most of my time. I was also thinking what materials to use for enclosure and what to do with ventilation. I want to keep this setup budget friendly. Can you guys share how you organized your machines?

One thing I really like about this IKEA PAX setup is how the AMS is placed on a pull-out drawer. It’s a really clean and practical solution, especially for accessibility and handling.

@Marcel Sibilitz I’m thinking about using 360mm fans with a controlled intake/exhaust setup, similar to a PC airflow system. Plan is to manage everything via a Raspberry Pi for temperature-based control. Intake would have dust filters, and if needed I might add some kind of air filtration system later on.
What’s your go-to black filament? (Surface quality & price discussion)
Hey everyone, I’m currently trying to find a good go-to black filament and wanted to hear your experiences. What are your preferred brands for black filament? Especially when it comes to things like: - printing letters or text - achieving a smooth surface finish - technical prints or functional parts So far, I’ve only tried PolyTerra and Bambu Lab filament. Both worked okay for me, but I’m still experimenting. Based on a recommendation from Nils, I’m now going to test Geetech filament. I’d be really interested in hearing: - what brands you would recommend (and why) - your experiences with print quality and consistency - your average bulk price per 1kg spool - where you usually order from - and whether you’re based in the EU or overseas Would love to hear your thoughts and real-world experiences! Thanks in advance 🙌

Bambu Lab P1S with AMS – honestly, it made getting into 3D printing way easier than expected.
What this is for:
Every great business relationship starts with a handshake. We want to know who you are and where you are on your journey. What to post: Tell us: 1. What’s your current printer setup? 2. What is your biggest goal for the next 3 months? 3. Where are you from and how old are you?

Hey everyone 👋 (virtual handshake 🤝) Setup: Bambu Lab P1S with AMS 🖨️ (started ~6 months ago) Goal: Understand 3D printing, improve my skills & create my own designs. Maybe open a shop one day once I reach my quality standards. About me: I’m Stefan, 25, from Nuremberg, Bavaria 🇩🇪. Getting married this year 💍 and currently trying to create my own decoration projects for it by September.
