Welcome! 🍎
Welcome to educators in schools or at home who are trying to navigate real classrooms full of promising kiddos while also trying to survive under strict legislation and curriculum guidelines! Hi! I’m Stacy, a well worn teacher with 23 years experience in the early childhood setting! If you have been around like me you know, much like the weather in Texas, if you don’t like the curriculum, give it a minute… it will change! I’m here to help you find your way to a happy developmentally appropriate classroom again all while maintaining those pesky curriculum requirements!

@Biodun Grows Brands well I work in a public school in Texas. While I am immune to a lot of the curriculum restrictions, because I’m in Pre-K, I am watching all of my friends become more and more frustrated and dejected because they are being forced to use a curriculum that, they know, is setting their students up for failure. There is so much involved with it, but it is killing moral in our schools and, as everyone who doesn’t live under a rock knows, teachers are leaving the profession in droves! I want to create a community to build those amazing educators back up… but also to lend some perspective to how the forced curriculum can be used at the same time so that administrators are appeased and not breathing down those lovely teachers’ necks!

I’m a 51 year old teacher with 23 years of teaching experience. I want to see new teachers understand that teaching is not just reading from a manual!
