BOX BRAID TUTORIAL
Starting box braids is where most braiders get exposed. If your parts aren’t clean… If your sections aren’t balanced… If your tension isn’t controlled… The entire style will suffer. Box braids don’t start with adding hair. They start with understanding foundation. This is what I teach my students first — because speed means nothing without structure. Anybody can braid. Not everybody can install with intention. If you’re serious about mastering box braids the right way, start by fixing your foundation. Comment below if this technique was helpful. #BraidingEducation #BoxBraidsMastery #BraidCoach #LevelUpBraider
BOX BRAID TUTORIAL
Are you ready?
This is what purpose looks like. 💕✨ Not just doing hair… Building confidence. Creating skill. Teaching legacy. From the mannequin head to real clients… From student to six-figure systems… From passion to platform. Braiding isn’t just a hustle for me. It’s a calling. It’s structure. It’s strategy. It’s freedom. And if you’re watching me thinking “I want to get to that level”… Understand this — I didn’t just wake up here. I practiced. I studied. I mastered. I built systems. Talent is cute. Skill is powerful. But discipline? That’s what changes your life. If you’re ready to take your braiding seriously this year, stop playing small. Comment “READY” and let’s build your next level the right way. 💪🏾✨ We start tomorrow!

This is great! Fantastic job. Your hardwork and dedication will pay off.🙏 Next steps: Parting can use some work. Creating some symmetry. This Stitch is good so that will get better with time. Keep going🙏
First conraws.
Just started my internship at jpraise natural hair studio. My first paying client I worked on, wig lines. How did I do, though I feel like I need to improve in parting.

Hi @Newrine Atieno . This is a great start. You should be proud of yourself 👏 Perfecting your parts will come with time and practice. Next steps: Just focus on making those cornrows neater as well as exploring different braid patterns to fit the clients needs. Be sure to come to next class where I answer questions and demonstrate different techniques to help you along the way. Wednesday at 7pm EST🙏 Keep up the great work. Out of curiosity if you were putting a wig in, how did you secure the nape area?
My first client of the year and Im stressed
This is my first client of the year, and once again, the style took me 12 hours. I don't think my client liked it, but this hair braider life is stressful. Any feedback is apperciative

Hi @Jessica Opoku-Amoah . So glad to see that you are still at it and working hard. Next steps: Parting, Creating a parting system to make sure that you grids are not only even but also clean. We can go over this in the next class. Method: When twisting the hair, I find it better when I start off with a braid foundation and then transition into the twist. This creates a clearly base but also helps with longevity of the braids. I will post a video to help with this shortly to give clarity. Keep on practicing and know that you are in fact getting better with every braid. 🙏
