I was just reading the headline on Manus. Says "joined". So Meta actually bought them out for 1 billion?? Wow! But this means that Meta is just using Claude and not owning an actual AI company I'm guessing.

Harlan, I'm joining Manus. It looks like the cheapest I can get to start is the $20 per mo for 4k credits. do you have a promotion code? It didn't ask me for an invitation link either. was it supposed to?

Same happened to me. You're supposed to get a referral from someone BEFORE getting a login. You only get 500 credits bonus so not a big deal. You do get (everyone does even free users) 300 credits daily so make sure you make some progress as you're learning how to use it. I try to be on it daily to at least use 300 credits worth of a project. The prompting is the secret. Otherwise I'd blow through 4k credits.
