shroud of Turin experience
I live in Orange County CA and am lucky enough that we have the Shroud of Turin experience here. I just wanted to share some photos and a video of the experience… for those who aren’t familiar.. the shroud is the linen cloth that Jesus was laid on and covered with… this is more of a projection/replica as the Vatican has the original shroud in storage. You can see all the wounds consistent with his passion- the blood pooling on this left chest where he was pierced, the crown of thorns and the punctures in his head, and over 700 wounds he was inflicted… you can also see his face and the nail holes in his hand. The crazy thing is the image is barely deep into the thread.. I think they said something like .2mm or something crazy like that… it cannot be replicated by any technology that we have.. and the blood type is AB, and matches the same blood type found in Eucharistic miracles.. also consistent with blood that is released when someone has a very traumatic experience. It was an incredible journey into his passion and the evidence he left behind for us that it truly did happen and this is not just about religion.. but also true history.

@Evelyn Montes please don’t ever apologize for how you feel when it comes to talking about our Lord, I feel the same way too… I can’t help but share the things I experience or learn with the people closest to me.. everyday i learn something new and it’s been such an incredible journey. I’m so glad you got to see the exhibit! I’ve been wanting to go for a long time too.. I was so lucky that it’s in my area so I didn’t have to drive far. They did a fantastic job of it. I’ve been praying the daily devotion to our lady of sorrows because I want to honor our mother and carry her sorrows along with Jesus’ passion in my heart with every breath that I take. We truly are not worthy of all the suffering they went through for us 😭😭😭
Hello and thank you for having me!
Hi! My name is Sophia and I live in Southern California. I am a lash artist and photographer. I am the youngest of 14 kids all from the same parents, and I have one daughter that is currently 21 years old. I recently just came back to God after over 20 years of turning away from him…. He called me back in October 2025 and my life has been forever changed since then. I was raised Catholic, and basically went through the motions of school, mass, prayer without ever being taught to or how to have a relationship with God. It wasn’t til now that I’m searching for him and trying to build that relationship with him.. and to understand what it is he is calling me to do with my life that i have had some very profound experiences and conversations with him. I’m looking forward to growing closer to God with each passing day and to connect with others who have beautiful stories to share about his love and mercy… and the graces that he bestows upon us.
