Small Win
Hey Everyone, Just wanted to share a small win for me today. I managed to secure my first sit down with a possible client today. I got talking to our contract manager at work today just general chit chat talking about his role and what it entailed. We got onto how late he has to work and how it was hard on the family so so forth. I said to him what if i could give you that time back through implementing software that did a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to office admin. he laughed and asked how was that I explained lv learned how to use AI to build systems we went back and forth a bit about AI talking about where it might lead and such and I'm not going to lie basically regurgitated Jakes classes stating things like how its now to have a hand carved rifle will set you back a small fortune but way back when you would of been looked down on, I spoke about the part about human desire and how that will always be there. He was completely taken back to him I was now not just a vet and a carpenter I was the future and Iv been asked to come to the office tomorrow to sit down and talk. I know its only a sit down and nothing confirmed but when i first approached them i was basically laughed out the office and given work via what's app but that small amount of knowledge might be the reason my life changes for the better. So thank you @Jake Van Clief .for giving this course away and helping complete beginners like me a fighter chance of a better future.

@John Lilly hey! I decided that if I want to go to law school I could always do that in the future. But right now it’s not worth the debt when I’m so curious about learning the future of AI. I got offered a job but haven’t officially started working in AI for a consulting business. If I feel like law is a passion I missed out on I could always go back to school!

Also the consulting business discussed me integrating AI into some law firms they are connected with. We might be going into similar fields!
What would you do?
I started 2026 thinking I was going to go to law school. but after looking at the mass amount of debt I would be in I am starting to change my trajectory. I got offered a job implementing tech (specifically AI) into different companies. I would start off with a vending machine business and once I complete that I would move on to law firms with the help of my employer. I am DESPERATE for guidance! where would you guys start? I could see this being a career for myself. if you were in my position as a 23 year old starting from scratch with amazing opportunities, where would you start? I desperately want a mentor! thank you guys!

@Jordan Shaw I’ve started the classes but definitely need to do more

@Toby Iverson ok I’m taking this open door then! Also I think I worded the marriage thing wrong. I am in a very long term relationship and if I had to guess I’m assuming I have a few years before I want to be fully independent and the type of person a spouse can depend on.
ATTENTION: Due to the bot attack...
We have been left with no other choice but to temporarily set the DM's to LEVEL 5. If you need further assistance you can always DM one of the admins. Thank you for your patience in this matter

its frustrating that bots are making it harder for me as a beginner to use Skool. I feel like the feature of DMing was useful to get one on one advice. Until that gets figured out feel free to like this comment so its easier for me to communicate please!!!
We've reached 4k! LFG! The story continues! Big plans ↓
Quick story, when the community was first under 20 or so members, I had to actually hunt down the link to the skool from 2-3 frames on an instagram reel, it was a pain, but such a worthful pain 🙏 We've grown so much over just the span of a week or so, from having less than 50 members to our first milestone of 100 members, I remember telling jake this is such a good milestone, what happened next was just mind-blowing, a few days later he posted 1 reel, the much loved File architecture system. That changed everything. You might've seen me in chat a lot interacting with the community, but let's appreciate the people behind the scenes (and in front as well) who actually power clief notes. The main orchestrator: @Jake Van Clief Jake's goal from the start was never to make a profit hungry 100% automated community, I understood from day 1 that he actually spends his time (FYI, he had over a 2 hour class with 50 students as he is a university professor) engaging with the community, regardless of the amount of work he does behind the scenes, regardless of having over 400+ intro's, he manually goes through each and every 1 trying to learn about everyone in the community to the best of his abilities. We all could agree that he deserves a break, but he told me that he wasn't interested in taking one for now, regardless of how much has been done, the world keeps moving and so does he. Our big man Mathew: @Matthew Creamer Matthew may not have been interacting in the community as much, but trust me he's working so much on the BTS work which no one gets to see and unlike other "AI Gurus", he hasn't once asked for any sort of appreciation or praise, GOAT tbh. My most fav developer: @Kay K Many of you don't know Kay, but this guy has some pure awesome talent, he's made the completely free to VIP member software which helps each individual learn and understand any concept/lecture/research paper/list goes on. The level of design and architecture that he made within such a short time never fails to amaze me, amazing stuff.

Ayo I just followed you on instagram
Is learning python and JSON really necessary now?
As I’m beginning my journey in AI, I’ve built out my own learning roadmap. Within the roadmap I have added some lessons of python and json. Does anyone think this is required learning? I was informed that with Mythos coming out from Anthropic it would be pointless to learn.

How much time should I invest in learning code? I know it's not important that I am an expert now but I want to understand the language. Also does anyone know the best ways to learn basics with Python for free?

Instead of pursuing law school I have an opportunity for a career in AI. Looking to learn from others with the same passion.
