Happy Thursday! I want to keep things light today and get to know you a little better. What's something you never thought you'd enjoy that you absolutely love now? This season of life has a funny way of surprising us, we finally have a bit of space to try things and suddenly there's a whole new side of us showing up. I love that so much. 👉Vote below and then tell me your thing in the comments, the more surprising the better. I'll go first 👇

For me it's a very girlie sport: pole dance, in my 40's. I have always been a bit of a tomboy, so no one more surprised at me that I enjoy dressing up and dancing with the pole!

@Lindi Harmse haha that’s true, as girlie as it is, it’s not gentle!
One Saturday, any age, you choose 😄
If I could spend one Saturday at any age it would absolutely be 25 😄 That was the age I felt unstoppable. I had just had my first baby, we had our own house, we'd been married five years, and I was old enough for the older adults to take me seriously but still young enough to hang out with the younger ones. 😉Vote in the poll to pick your age, 👉then tell me in the comments why you chose it and what you'd do with your Saturday. Enjoy your day 🌷

Hormonal changes and all, I would still choose to be in my 40s. I am my most wise, confident version I have ever been. Hats off to my younger selves, but they were not as fun as this version of me ☺️
So, Who Wants To Be Unstoppable? 🚲
This week we turned the door handle and talked about that first push on the bike, and I loved reading your bikes in the comments. 🚲 So I'm asking the big question, who wants to be unstoppable? If it's a yes, take your next small step, make it easy enough that you'd score it an 8 or higher out of 10 for actually doing it, and put a date next to it. If it's a not yet, that's absolutely okay, get curious about what's getting in the way, because that's useful information too. 📄 This week's worksheet, Who Am I Beyond My Roles?, was inspired by tools from I AM Unstoppable, and it's still in Monday's post. I AM Unstoppable is in the classroom, so you can unlock it and go at your own pace. ✨ 👉 Tell me in the comments, yes means your next step and when you'll do it, not yet means what you're curious about.

It’s so interesting how this word “unstoppable” feels spot on during my follicular phase, and so far removed during my luteal ☺️
Is It Perimenopause or Is It My Attitude?
One of our members asked a question that I think many women in midlife can relate to. “How do I know how much is perimenopause and how much is my attitude towards things?” When you're feeling exhausted, irritable or overwhelmed, it's easy to become hard on yourself. In today's coaching video, we're talking about self-compassion, recognizing our triggers and using the STOP tool to create a little space before we respond. 💛 Ladies, I'd love to hear from you. What has been your biggest challenge during perimenopause or menopause, and what has helped you? And to the menopause coaches in our Circle, please join the conversation too. Your knowledge and experience are so valuable. Let's learn from and support one another. 💛

Yes! I often wonder if my hormones amplify me and what I am *really* feeling under the layer of masking I am so used to doing.

@Lindi Harmse I will definitely apply STOP more often. Any sort of healthy distance from my thoughts and experience is beneficial in those moments.
The Anchor You Can Carry Anywhere 🌿
Two weeks back we looked at the vagus nerve and the breathing switch, and this week I've got another way in for when breathing isn't the easiest thing to do. One of you said your breathing practice stopped when your morning routine changed, and that's so true, so this one doesn't need a routine at all. It's called resourcing, and it just means using the things around you and inside you that help you feel safe and calm and putting your attention on them on purpose. Your brain and body are always talking to each other, so what your body senses changes how you feel. Sensory anchoring is how you do it. You pick one sense and give it your full attention. Hold a smooth stone or something soft and notice how it feels, light a candle and breathe in the scent, listen to one sound or some music, take one slow bite and notice the flavor, or look at a candle flame or a leaf until your thoughts pause. Choose your anchor before you need it and it'll already be there. 📄🌿 I made you a two-page guide, Pick Your Anchor, with the practice for each sense and a worksheet to try it this week. 👇🌿 Tell me in the comments, what's one thing you'd hold or listen to as your anchor? 📊 Had you heard of resourcing before today?

Touch and smell are big ones for me, which is why I make sure that my work environment includes nice scents and soft cushions with different fabrics.
