AIS challenge - Day 4 (Trigger.dev automation)
Deployed an automation that search the web for content ideation for my blog/videos daily at 7am. There were couple of things that broke during this learning/building session: 1 . The model was hallucinating some of the URLs it attached and what Claude did was harvest the real citation URLs directly from the web-search results (the structured data), append them to the research digest as an explicit "real sources" list, and tell the structuring step to use only URLs from that list — drop any idea whose real URL it can't find. 2. Duplication of ideas - Claude fixed it by adding a deduplication step 3. Search agent got timed out - Claude fixed by increasing the headroom

AIS Challenge - Day 3
I built a skill called financial performance assessment. It's basically a skill to product a structured standardised financial report for me to assess before deciding on a trading decision. I can slash command or natural language trigger it by saying run the financials for XX for e.g. I re-iterated a couple times to make sure the data shown excludes the one-off items i.e. only shows the core performance of the company and also re-iterated to make sure the deliverables format are similar every time I run it e.g. the graphs structure is the same.

Scraped some finance jobs from the daily remote website and some dentists leads. I think one use case idea could be to potentially use it for interview preparation - i.e. scrape a company's website and ask Claude to put it into a structured informative dataset which I can use for an interview to know more about the company and where I can provide value and how can my role be a good fit etc.

Day 1 AIS Challenge - Newsletter
Hi everyone, I've built a newsletter for my blog. I've learnt that having the WAT framework structure in place when building projects really helps to make the whole project scaffolding a lot neater. One thing I'd improve about my newsletter is to make the content sound less AI and more human.

How AI has impacted your life ?
Hello guys, Yesterday I was talking about AI with some friends that do not know about AI (they just use Chat GPT to ask questions instead of browsing for them). It made me realise how much AI has impacted my daily life (in a positive way) by making me able to have more time and room for my family and be more efficient in all of the tasks and things I'm doing. So here's my question, how AI has impacted your life ? Is there any negative side of AI that you noticed and would like to highlight ?

I think the biggest reminder I have for myself right now the more I use AI is that I need to remind myself to be critical of the output delivered by AI because with AI now being able to do more and more, in my opinion the biggest advantage I have as a human is judgement and critical thinking. but sometimes I catch myself being too reliant on AI and lose touch with a little bit of that judgment and thinking.
