As a child of some amazing parents, I think if I had to give my parents constructive feedback on how I grew up as an athlete, I would say that advice needs to be carefully crafted because kids can take something at face value from their parents and live with that forever. Literally just today in the gym, I realised that when I squat, my feet are too close together. Also, when I take jump shots in the basketball gym, my feet are too close together. I realise that's probably from almost a decade ago when my dad and I were practising squats and my legs were really far apart. He kind of teased me, saying, "Your shoulders aren't that far apart."
