Hi everyone 😊 I wanted to share some exciting news! 🎉 I have accepted a position as a Software Engineer / Data Scientist at Geotechnics. In this role, I am working on automating their manual lab processes using software and data solutions. It is initially a three-month contract, but I am really enjoying the work so far. I feel very grateful to be gaining hands-on industry experience while continuing to look for long-term opportunities 🙏✨ It feels much better to be learning, working, and growing rather than just sitting at home and searching for jobs 😊 Thank you all for your support and encouragement! 💐

My win this week is one that’s made me a bit emotional (in a good way) 🥹❤️…. This Saturday Finn starts tutoring sessions with our amazing @Sivasharmini Ganeshamoorthy, after they got chatting at the London meetup and realised she’s also a tutor! We couldn’t be more grateful for the offer to help support him through his A level ✨❤️🙏….. This is what I mean when I say this network is so much more than “networking”…… You lot haven’t just supported me… you’ve poured into my boy too.…. Finn now talks about careers, tech, AI, university, opportunities and futures that honestly just didn’t even feel like they belonged to “people like us” before……But being around this community on our meet ups & listening in to some of the fireside’s, has completely changed the way he sees himself and what’s possible for his future….. Now he’s got this incredible woman helping guide and support him too and I just think that’s really bloody special ❤️✨🙏 I don’t think some of you even realise the impact you have had on our life, I’m sat crying my eyes out writing this because I just love you all & am so very grateful for every bit of support yous have given us both ✨❤️🙏 Right come on then… enough of me being soft 😂🙈….Wins? Whines? Tiny victories? Absolute chaos? Tell me everything ✨❤️
