Happy Hour? RSVP!! 🥂
The votes are in and "Collab Coworking" was the winner... But let’s be real. The main point is to actually hang out, stop being "lonely entrepreneurs" for an hour, and make some new friends. The Plan: Hop on a Skool Live, grab your poison (Coffee? Tea? Something stronger? No judgment!), and let’s get those deals moving. I’ll be there, and our girl @Sara Obando is leading the way to keep the vibes high. When: April 16, 2026 @ 12:00 PM EDT Where: Right here on Skool Live. We’re going to talk shop, swap ideas, and I might even share a few "Big Ol' Purse" secrets on how I find partners fast. RSVP purty please... 👇👇👇 I’m like a kid on the playground with a new pack of stickers—if nobody shows up to trade, I’m gonna be sitting by the swings looking real sad! 😂 To RSVP, drop a "YEP" or "NOPE" below and answer this: If we were hanging out in person, what’s your "go-to" snack or drink? (I need ideas for my next grocery run!) 🥨🍷 Let's Make It Happen, Sunny ☀️ PS Put it in your calendar now. Your future "Business Bestie" is probably waiting for you on this call!

I'm sorry, I'm already committed to something at 12:00 EDT for the next 2 Thursdays, but I love the idea. Maybe I'll be able to join some future one. Btw. I live in Spain, so that's 6pm my time.

@Sunny Sangster the "go to" snack in Spain is a tougher ask than you might imagine. The Spanish have a whole style of eating that revolves around "tapas" that they consider "snacks" but the rest of the world considers a meal! 😅 Tapas can be anything in a (relatively) small portion, like soup, meatballs, chicken wings or crumbed chicken strips, all kinds of seafood, spicy potatoes, cured meats and a variety of cheese, bread with dips, etc. What usually happens is that you choose a whole variety of "little" dishes and everyone shares. It's magic. 😁 Also, if you go out for a drink, you usually get given free nuts, or olives, or assorted sweets, or popcorn... or a combination of all the above! 💖💫
Collabs aplenty
I have an event tomorrow I’m running here in Sydney with two collaborators. Simple profit share, minus expenses, split three ways. A client is hiring me as a guest expert inside her program. Set fee so far, but we might negotiate some other arrangement. Someone else wants me to present overseas and pay to come to her program. That is likely an easy no as it’s a lopsided collaboration, regardless of what clients I may or may not get from it. A few more irons are in the fire right now. Tell me - do you ever do paid collaborations? What have you found works best for you? What are your red flags and green flags?

Not yet, but I'm open to them.
Looking for people who want to get more comfortable asking for what they want
It sounds simple, right? Just ASK for what you want. It isn't. Many of us have been conditioned to NOT do this. It can feel weird, pushy, obnoxious, and just plain wrong to ask for what you want. Which puts us on the back foot in business. Imagine how it might feel to be comfortable and confident in introducing yourself to strangers, striking up conversations, asking for what you want, being clear and direct? Imagine saying what you mean and meaning what you say. I'd love to hear how you feel about it?

It's taken me a very long time to learn to ask for what I need, but it's still not something I do easily. Like Iskra, I'm very sensitive to the "vibes" in a room, even a virtual room, and trust my instincts when it comes to interacting. Unlike Iskra, I'm still working on firming up my boundaries. I'm *much* more comfortable helping others rather than having others help me.
Today is my CEO Day
Mondays are normally my CEO Day but I haven't had one for way too long, due to travel, deadlines and life life-ing. So today? WHAT a treat. I have gotten so.much.done. It's joyous. My focus has been content creation, and made some serious inroads. But I still have reach-outs to do. And now it's Monday afternoon here in Sydney, so it's the perfect time to get stuck in – starting with my speaker's agent. What about you? Who are you reaching out to today, to collaborate with? Introduce yourself? Pitch and propose?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I don't know where to focus my attention in the run-up to the official launch of my children's picture book, Good Pixie Bad Pixie, and my first masterclass, Where Parenting Meets Inner Healing: The First 3 Steps to Raising Thriving Resilient Kids. I have so many ideas swimming inside my head, and so many things I want to do.🤦‍♀️ Any suggestions on what I should prioritise?
Monday Momentum
There's something special about Mondays, isn't there? I used to hate them. Now I love them. I've repositioned them to be my favourite week day. (Those good things always happen on Tuesdays....) What are your goals this week? Who are you reaching out to? What collabs are you working on? I've been extroverting hard lately, at a conference and several networking events, so I'm following up with new connections and hoping to get some coffees and cocktails in the diary. Have you checked out our latest training yet, Building your Business Community? https://www.skool.com/collabclub/classroom/f2363fe9

Yes, I have. Building my Business Community is what I'm currently focused on. The ebook version of Good Pixie Bad Pixie and the ebook of Pixie Buena Pixie Mala (its Spanish translation) are available on Amazon, for the lowest price they'd allow, until 15 September. On September 15th, all the versions (softcover, hardcover and ebook) will be available everywhere. Unfortunately, the royalty share is heavily in favour of the printers and distributors, so I need to create another business in order to make money. I'm focusing on using the core message of my picture book to create a community of supportive parents. Right now, I'm working on my first masterclass; "Where Parenting Meets Inner Healing: The First 3 Steps to Raising Thriving, Resilient Kids"
