Let’s be real… a big part of why we want to collect watches, cars and material items has long been for mile stone accomplishment and status. Not necessarily from females but from men and the wider world those we wish to do business or have people see our POV, it all helps. Today I was at the gym and saw someone with the same watch as me, until then I hadn’t see someone with it. A stroke to the ego.. maybe for a second. I went over spoke to him and commented nice watch he said thanks and then noticed we were matching. We got into 10 minute conversation and connected. I later noticed that he was well regarded internationally and highly connected inside the UAE with people I want to do business with. I would conclude that watches and car are ice breakers and minimum standard items for high level people and the rest is on you to make up with your tact, tenacity, intellect and charisma.
