Just horrible
Saw the Void was mentioned. Did any of you watch "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities"? The Autopsy is wild, and the ending is brilliant... if you can sit through it hehe

Who are you?
Hey everyone! 👋 This is our official "get to know each other" post for the whole group. Jump into the comments and tell us about yourself! (no pressure of course) - What got you into cosmic horror? - Since everyone here is into the same thing, what content would you recommend we check out and why? Quick note: Feel free to self promo, but don't make it all about selling stuff - we want to get to know YOU as a person, not just your pitch! After you introduce yourself, scroll through and check out what others have shared. Leave some replies and connect with people - that's what this is all about! Can't wait to meet you all properly! 🙂 Cheers, Matt

@Jon Burke Except for the classical lit. - it sounds very similar to myself. I practiced both iaijutsu and Hema. Big fan of Wayne June's narrations of Lovecraft.

Honestly, I can't remember when I discovered Lovecraft - non in my cycles know him. But I'm a big fan of that kind of literature/media. I think, it's the atmosphere, first and foremost. I regularly listen to Lovecraft audiobooks. Other favorites are "I'm legend" (Richard Matheson) and "Metro 2033" (Dimitry Glukhovsky). I'm also a decent oil-painter and a diploma grad. luthier.
What’s your favorite way to enjoy cosmic horror?
I just picked up The Fisherman by John Langan after seeing it recommended underneath a YouTube video. Only a few chapters in but it’s giving me the same early setup vibes as the book 14 by Peter Clines. Excited to keep digging in. Got me thinking, what’s your favorite way to enjoy cosmic horror stuff? For me it’s hard to choose. I think I love the video game medium most because of the interaction but love movies like Annihilation and The Lighthouse. Share a few of your favorites!

I've had that on my to-read list for some years now. Heard it's good, but very slow.
