I gave it a try with my custom GPT “Wolfgang” (nickname “Wolfi”) 😅 who is German-American, a mix of career coach, business & high performance personal development coach with a Tony Robbins personality style and this is the chat: https://chatgpt.com/share/693223a8-8230-800a-a8c3-00f62e0af062 I found the topic very useful because I just started a side business here in Germany and realized I need to improve my business knowledge. It asked concrete questions and it explained in an easy to understand way what is important for the business and how to translate design decisions into business outcomes. It took my general answers and helped me deep-dive by asking follow-up questions and guiding me to discover the answer myself and explaining it, as opposed to just providing the answer directly from the beginning.

@Suyen Stevenson haha, love the coincidence! Yes, it’s a fun name for people, pets & AI assistants 😂 I just tried the same prompt with the “normal” chat gpt 5.1 and I noticed these differences: Wolfi was more detail-oriented from the beginning, made a list of goals for the exercise and was more motivational/hyped me up like Tony Robbins. Did a deep dive asking more questions for the follow up questions, to make sure I understand. Also was more proactive,action-oriented, no fluff (because of the custom instructions) and in the end proposed a level 2 with a new scenario, while the normal gpt asked if I wanted to do a new exercise. So it was a similar exercise but the AI behavior was different according to the custom instructions.

Be specific, define the role of AI (act as…), provide examples, tell also what not to do (like “remove em-dashes” 😃). For complex tasks break it down into multiple prompts, like a step by step process. And also use AI itself to evaluate and improve your prompts.
