Day 6 of the Cortisol Cure Challenge just dropped
and this one uncovered a hidden cortisol trigger that almost nobody thinks about. Dehydration. Not "I haven't had water in 3 days" dehydration. The chronic, low-grade, "I drink plenty of water and still feel terrible" kind of dehydration. The kind that 80% of adults are living with right now. Here's the fact that surprised everyone today: Just 2% dehydration โ€” the equivalent of losing 1.5 lbs of water weight โ€” raised cortisol, elevated heart rate, and impaired brain function. Your body treats mild dehydration as a survival threat. Same alarm system. Same cortisol response. But here's the twist nobody expected: plain water alone does not fix it. Water needs minerals โ€” sodium, potassium, magnesium โ€” to be properly absorbed into your cells. Without them, your kidneys flush the water out before your cells can use it. This is why some women drink 10 glasses a day and still feel dehydrated. It is not a water problem. It is a mineral problem. Today our members got: โ†’ The 5 minerals their adrenals are starving for (with deficiency signs and food sources) โ†’ The BraveWorks Adrenal Cocktail โ€” a 60-second drink that delivers exactly what stressed adrenals need โ†’ Mineral-rich herbal infusion guide (overnight nettle, oat straw, raspberry leaf, hibiscus) โ†’ A complete daily hydration formula โ†’ A fridge-door printable with the recipe, the formula, and a weekly tracker Six days in. Here's what has been built: Day 1: Understand cortisol Day 2: Sleep protocol on the nightstand Day 3: Adaptogen in the cabinet Day 4: Meal guide on the fridge Day 5: Movement plan on the mirror Day 6: Hydration protocol next to the stove Six physical tools in six days. And there are still 4 more: sunlight, breathwork, digital detox, and a personalized plan for life. Members are reporting better sleep, less brain fog, fewer cravings, more energy, and a level of understanding about their own body that nobody ever gave them before. Six days. You can still catch up. All 6 days are live in the Classroom right now.

DAY 6 โ€” Level Up: Second Swap Goes Live
Happy Monday. The foundation is built. Now we accelerate. Today you activate Elimination #2 and Positive #2. You're now running 2 things out and 2 things in simultaneously. The compounding begins. But here's what I want you to do differently this time. Your first swap was about proving you could do it. This second swap is about building something permanent. Be brutally honest with yourself โ€” what are you genuinely willing to give up for GOOD? What are you genuinely willing to add for the REST OF YOUR LIFE? Don't pick the hardest thing to impress anyone. Pick the thing you can actually sustain. A permanent small change beats a temporary dramatic one every single time. If you know you'll never give up coffee forever but you COULD give up sodas permanently โ€” choose the soda. The goal isn't to do everything for 10 days. It's to find the 3-4 changes you carry with you forever. Here's what the science says about making changes stick. The European Journal of Social Psychology found it takes an average of 66 days to form a habit โ€” not 21. But there are strategies that dramatically increase your odds. Habit stacking โ€” attach the new behavior to something you already do automatically. Identity shifting โ€” stop saying "I'm trying to cut sodium" and start saying "I don't eat processed food." Environment design โ€” put your walking shoes by the door, your water bottle on the nightstand, your magnesium next to your toothbrush. Make the good choice easy and the bad choice hard. And the biggest one โ€” accountability. The American Society of Training and Development found that having a specific accountability partner increases your probability of success from 10% to 95%. Not a typo. Ninety-five percent. So today I'm asking you to GRAB A PARTNER. Find someone in this community. DM them. Agree to check in daily for the last 5 days. Share numbers. Celebrate wins. Lift each other up when it gets hard. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion." โ€” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

I will stop eating fast food as frequently as I do, I will keep my fridge stocked with fruits and veggies. This week my husband and I have eaten salad twice a day!
Day 5: Check-In Sunday โ€” Why This Challenge Could Save Your Life
Halfway point. Time to look at what's real. Today we talk about WHY this challenge exists. Not the theory. The stakes. High blood pressure is the #1 contributing factor to heart disease and stroke โ€” the two leading causes of death in this country. 695,000 Americans die from heart disease every year. 795,000 strokes. And most people with high BP feel completely fine until the day something fails. No warning. Just consequences. What you're doing in this challenge โ€” every day you hold your elimination, every day you execute your positive โ€” you are actively reducing the force against your vessel walls. That's not a health trend. That's preventive medicine. But today's PDF goes somewhere most health programs won't touch. Cortisol. Not just "I'm stressed at work" cortisol. We break down 7 types of stress that produce the exact same hormone in your bloodstream โ€” anger, chronic pain, unforgiveness, worry, anxiety, grief, and guilt. Your body doesn't know the difference between real danger and a grudge you've been replaying for 3 years. Every time your brain runs that loop, cortisol fires. Vessels constrict. Heart rate rises. BP goes up. Then we get to the antidote. Trust. Not a supplement. Not a breathing exercise. Trust in the God who built your cardiovascular system. Trust that releases anger, surrenders worry, forgives the offense, and breaks the shame loop. And the physiology backs it up โ€” trust produces oxytocin and serotonin that directly oppose cortisol. If trust feels too big today โ€” start with gratitude. 25 things tonight before bed. Not 3. Twenty-five. The first 10 are easy. The rewiring happens at item 15-25 when your brain stops threat-scanning and shifts to abundance. Research shows daily gratitude lowers cortisol by 23%. Download the Day 5 PDF in the Classroom for the full deep dive โ€” organ damage tables, the cortisol cascade, all 7 stress types mapped to their BP effect, and the trust-to-physiology connection. Now I need something from you. Post your halfway numbers:

DAY 1 โ€” High Blood Pressure? (Start Here)
The 10-Day BP Reset Challenge is officially LIVE. Your first step is simple. Go to the Classroom, open the Day 1 lesson, and download the PDF. Everything you need is in there โ€” the full lists of negatives to eliminate and positives to add, the points system, your baseline assessment form, and your 10-day tracking sheet. Read through it. Fill out your baseline. Choose your 3 eliminations and 3 additions. Then come back here and drop your Day 1 check-in below. Post the following (share what you're comfortable with): My BP: / My Weight: ___ lbs Tomorrow I'm ELIMINATING: ___ Tomorrow I'm ADDING: ___ That's it. That's your Day 1. Tomorrow we make our first swap. Today we just get honest about where we are. No judgment in this thread. Just people who decided their health was worth 10 days of effort. Drop your numbers below and let's build this together.
