I been wondering
Is it normal to feel like I am just being a wife doing what God wants me to do every day? The reason I ask this is because I am doing what I normally would do if Bud was not sick at all.. I do some different tasks that I would not have to do if he was totally well. He still has mobility most of the time, so he does a lot of things outside of the house when he feels up to it. That leaves me to be able to do housework that I can not do when he is here.
update on my husband
Had video appointment with Dr Tsia at UCSF and there is no clinic trials right now but she said she will put him on a list for one when the next one comes open, the is more treatment options that Dr Ghuman can try but they will just prolong his life

been Blessed today
We just got blessed with 13 cases of protein drinks equalling 264 containers. God is so awesome. I almost started crying with relief and feeling so blessed, I just wanted to share some great news
caring for my husband
Talked to the Dr this morning and my husband's cancer is spreading and getting worse. They are running out of options to do with him.

@Edward Gibbons we are in Oroville, CA and our insurance only cover so much and we live pay check to pay check, but he has a cancer dr and is referring him to a much bigger places to see what they can come up with. UCSF is a great hospital but a little bit of a distance from us. and UC Davis is in Sacramento, CA which we have traveled back and forth to a few times. Still a struggle will little money. God supplies everything when we need it.

💙 What if no caregiver ever had to feel alone again?
Think of a world where every caregiver had someone to lean on… A place where questions are welcomed.Where victories are celebrated.Where tears are understood.Where hope is restored. That’s the vision behind CareCFA. Caregiving is one of the most selfless acts of love. Yet millions of family caregivers quietly carry the weight of caring for a loved one while often putting their own health, dreams, and well-being aside. We believe it doesn’t have to be that way. CareCFA is more than a community. It’s a family of caregivers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and compassionate individuals united by one purpose: To ensure that every caregiver feels seen, supported, empowered, and never alone. Here you’ll find: 💙 Genuine connections with people who understand. 💙 Education and practical resources 💙 Live events and meaningful conversations. 💙 Encouragement for your caregiving journey. 💙 A place where your story matters. Today, we’d like to ask for your help. Who is the caregiver in your life? A spouse. A son or daughter. A parent .A sibling. A friend. A neighbor. Someone you know is quietly showing up every single day for another person. 📩 Invite them to join our CareCFA community. One invitation could introduce them to the encouragement, friendships, and support they’ve been needing all along. Because when caregivers are cared for, families grow stronger…communities become healthier…and lives are transformed. 💬 Introduce yourself below :• Who are you caring for? • Where are you joining us from? • If you could describe your caregiving journey in one word, what would it be? Welcome to CareCFA. Welcome home. 💙

My name is Shirley I care for my husband, we live in California, in a 350 sq cabin. A lot of the time I feel overwhelmed and alone with no one to talk to that is not hearing me all the time. We go to church when my husband is feeling well enough which is not to often. I am a Sunday school teacher of a very small class basically our grandchildren 10years and under.
