Good Saturday morning, ladies!!
This month has truly been one for the books, and this week especially has been BUSY busy — clients, business, graduation ceremonies, family events, and now getting ready for my niece’s graduation celebration next week!! 🎓 On top of that, this weather has been absolutely crazy with all this rain. 🌧️ But nonetheless… it has been phenomenal. I just wanted to check in with you all this morning and remind you that during celebration season, it’s still possible to enjoy yourself AND stay on track with your wellness goals. It just takes a little preparation and intention. A few simple tips for a busy weekend full of outings, celebrations, restaurants, and finger foods: • Start your day with protein first • Make breakfast your biggest and healthiest meal when possible • Prep simple meals ahead for the weekend • Don’t arrive starving to events — load up on protein beforehand • When eating out, ask for healthier alternatives • Remove items you don’t need and add vegetables or extra protein instead • Keep healthy snacks, fruit, water, and quick protein options nearby Simple meal ideas: Breakfast: Eggs, avocado toast, turkey bacon or chicken sausage, fruit, protein oatmeal, or a protein smoothie Lunch: Grilled chicken or salmon bowls, wraps, salads with extra protein, rice and veggies Dinner: Lean protein + vegetables + healthy carbs like sweet potatoes, rice, or quinoa This weekend is also a great time to prep and shop for what you need before the new week starts. Sunday prep helps make weekdays so much smoother. Personally, I’m headed to work today after being off yesterday. I used yesterday to truly rest and recover, and I’m feeling absolutely phenomenal this morning, refreshed, rested, and ready to crush the day! I hope you all are doing well too. Today is Cycling Thursday 🚴🏽‍♀️ and I wanted to personally invite any of my Georgia ladies to join me tonight at Fitness 2020 in McDonough at 7 PM! The class is only $10 with a member, and honestly… the energy is AMAZING. You truly go at your own pace, but the instructor does such a great job focusing on resistance, mobility, endurance, and strength. The music is good, the vibes are high, and the room fills up FAST because it’s that good. If you plan on coming, try to get there around 6:50 PM so you can grab a bike before class starts. I already have my gym clothes packed in the car because baby… we do not have time to waste!!!! 😭👏🏽 Also… can I just say how grateful I am lately? Life is life-ing, work is working, businesses are business-ing, families are family-ing… but we are STILL showing up for ourselves. Some of you are building careers, raising families, running businesses, managing nonprofits, healing, growing, and STILL making wellness a priority. That deserves recognition. Seriously. I’m proud of every woman in this group for choosing to master her wellness! Good afternoon!!!😘 This morning I did water aerobic instead of my normal workout. Its funny you posted that😅. I enjoyed it, definitely a workout but low impact on my knee which was good. Will do again😉

I’ve talked to several of you lately, and it seems like a lot of people are carrying something heavy right now. Life has been life-ing for a lot of us, so I just wanted to check in and extend a little grace this morning. Sometimes mastering yourself isn’t about crushing goals, hitting PRs, or having everything together. Sometimes it’s simply about getting through the day and doing the best you can with what you have. So let’s do a quick heart check-in today, here or my DM’s is fine… ❤️ 💚 = I’m doing great 💛 = I’m hanging in there and taking it day by day 🩵 = I could really use some encouragement or someone to talk to No pressure to explain anything if you don’t want to. Let’s be honest… by Wednesday, life starts life-ing 😅 Schedules get crazy!! Energy gets tested. 🥴 Motivation drops. And this is usually the point where people either tighten up… or completely fall off. But remember: Results are not built on perfect days. They’re built on the days you still show up when it would’ve been easier not to. So before today gets away from you: ✔️ Get your water in ✔️ Move your body ✔️ Hit your protein ✔️ Take a walk ✔️ Stretch if you feel stiff ✔️ Protect your mindset Even if today can’t be perfect, make it intentional. Heyyy! This morning I took the day off😔 My body wasn't feeling its best. I woke up to a swollen stiff knee. So RICE it is today 😋 (REST,ICE,COMPRESSION,ELEVATE)

To the mothers. The bonus moms. The women praying to become mothers. The women who experienced loss. The women nurturing others every single day. The women carrying families, businesses, relationships, careers, and responsibilities on their backs. Today is your reminder that your wellness matters too. As women, we naturally pour into everyone else first. We create life, nurture life, heal, support, teach, protect, and carry emotional weight that most people never fully see. But the truth is, constantly neglecting yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually eventually shows up in the body. Exhaustion. Stress. Weight gain. Hormonal imbalance. Burnout. Anxiety. Depression. Lack of energy. Feeling disconnected from yourself. This is why taking care of yourself is not selfish. It is necessary. Your workouts matter. Your nutrition matters. Your sleep matters. Your peace matters. Your mental health matters. YOU matter. You deserve to feel strong, healthy, rested, loved, confident, and well, not just for everyone else, but for yourself too.
