Both Ricky & Sherrie here as we want to work on our goals together. We did a program almost 4 years ago, got into a healthy eating pattern, and had lost a lot of weight. Over the past 4 years, through a lot of things, we got sidetracked from the healthy eating pattern and managed to gain all the weight back. This challenge is our effort to take some steps to get more healthy again through healthier eating and daily movement. Our goals for the next 3 weeks: 1) Ricky - cut out all sweet drinks (sodas, sweet tea), except for a treat on his birthday on March 22. Sherrie - continue to drink mostly water (increasing the amount of water when first waking up). 2) Eat a small portion of snacks / foods higher in protein every 2-3 hours. Eat lean & green meals. Question...what are higher healthy protein foods we can enjoy? 3) Overall, reduce amount of food we intake by not eating 2nds. 4) Increase our movement by enjoying a walk together at least 3x a week (the weather is so nice right now to be out enjoying).
