Open Conversation about your uncomfortable season
Good Morning Ladies, There are seasons in life where we pray hard for God to move. We ask Him to open a door. To change our situation. To deliver us from something that has become too heavy to carry. And when He answers that prayer, it feels like relief. Like the breakthrough finally came. But recently I had a moment that humbled me. I prayed for God to move me out of a difficult situation, and He did. A new opportunity opened and it felt like the answer to everything I had been praying about. But when I stepped into it, something felt familiar. The very place I landed was a place I had once prayed for God to move me out of years before. Same environment. Same uncomfortable feeling. And that’s when it hit me. God wasn’t the one who made the mistake. He simply answered my prayer. The truth was, in my desperation for change, I had prayed myself right back into something I once wanted to escape. That realization made me think about Samaria in John 4. The Bible says Jesus needed to go through Samaria. Not because it was the destination. But because there was an assignment there. Sometimes we find ourselves in seasons that feel uncomfortable or confusing, not because God failed us, but because we may be in what I call a Samaria season. So I want to ask you something honestly. Have you ever prayed for something, God answered, and the season you landed in felt different than you expected? If you’re comfortable sharing, tell me about your Samaria season. This is a safe space. No pretending. Just honesty. @Tangi Mckinnon @Maria Darby @Antonelle Prezzy @April Finley @Dawn Yacinthe @Beatrice Womble @Stephanie Underwood @LeRhonda Sinkfield @Sarah Elrod
