Day 5 Homework
The ONE problem, tension, or conversation I want to own: What happens after a devastating divorce or betrayal when the crisis is technically over, everyone expects you to move on, and you are still living in the aftermath trying to figure out who you are now. What I want the audience to understand, believe, or be able to do differently after my talk: I want women to understand that they do not have to be over it just because the relationship is over. I want them to stop judging themselves for still being affected, begin trusting themselves again, and realize they can start creating what comes next before they feel completely healed, certain, or ready. 1. Permission Granted: You Don’t Have to Be Over It to Begin Again Why a stage owner would want to book it: It challenges the pressure women feel to recover on someone else’s timeline and gives the audience a hopeful, actionable path forward. 2. The In-Between: Who Are You After the Life You Thought You’d Have Is Gone? Why a stage owner would want to book it: It names the identity crisis that can follow betrayal and divorce and opens a powerful conversation about rebuilding self-trust and identity. 3. Stop Performing “I’m Fine”: What Comes After a Devastating Divorce Why a stage owner would want to book it: It takes a direct, slightly contrarian position against forced recovery and speaks to women who are exhausted from appearing okay when they aren’t. 4. The Aftermath Nobody Talks About: How to Begin Again Before You Feel Ready Why a stage owner would want to book it: It creates curiosity around an overlooked phase of divorce recovery and gives the audience a clear promise — forward movement without waiting for perfect healing or certainty. 5. When Everyone Thinks You Should Be Over It — But You’re Not Why a stage owner would want to book it: It speaks directly to the invisible pressure many women feel after a painful life disruption and opens a relatable conversation about grief, identity, and moving forward on your own timeline.

@Ash Miller It would be virtual, small-group coaching. And yes, I’m seeing the same thing from the feedback here — the broader “life changed without your permission” message may be the umbrella, but the first offer needs one clear doorway. For this version, I’m narrowing it to women coming out of betrayal or a deeply painful divorce who are stuck in the aftermath and trying to figure out who they are now and what comes next.

@Ash Miller thank you! That means a lot. As you can tell, I have a lot of different directions all centered around permission granted and I’m still in the thick of it myself so hearing that… Appreciated!
Day 3 Homework
I help midlife women whose life no longer looks the way they thought it would rediscover hope, trust themselves again, and begin creating a next chapter that feels like theirs. I help them do that by recognizing what no longer fits, giving themselves permission to choose differently, and taking the next step before they have the whole plan.

@Chayilee Inspira mine was a nasty divorce and a legal battle with a $9 billion brand which also ended my 33 year career. 3 different things all out of my control

Day 2 Homework
I am becoming a woman who trusts herself enough to move before she has all the answers. I choose action over waiting for certainty, and I give myself permission to be seen while I am still figuring things out. I believe what I have lived through, what I have learned, and the voice I am finding can help another woman feel less alone and more hopeful about what comes next. I no longer need to have everything polished, proven, or perfectly mapped out before I begin. I trust myself to learn as I go, change direction when I need to, and keep showing up. I am willing to take up space, use my voice, and step into rooms that once would have intimidated me. I am not waiting for someone else to tell me I am ready. I am giving myself permission to become who I am becoming. One-sentence identity statement: I am a woman who trusts herself to be seen, take action before she has the whole plan, and use her voice to give others hope.
Homework Day 1
My WHY Statement I believe everyone deserves to know they are allowed to choose what comes next, even when life no longer looks the way they planned. I feel most called to women who are standing in that in-between place — grieving what was, unsure of who they are now, and not yet able to see the whole path forward. I care because I know how unsettling it is to lose the identity, future, or version of life you thought you were supposed to have. I want to help women feel seen, find hope, and give themselves permission to become who they are becoming without waiting for certainty, approval, or a perfect plan. My One-Sentence WHY I believe women deserve the hope and permission to create what comes next, even before they know exactly what that looks like.
