Hello everyone 👋
I’m Williams. I’ve been on my dispatch journey for a while now, and like many of you, I started by learning the basics, making mistakes, and slowly understanding how the business really works beyond just load boards. One thing that helped me personally was having a side hustle alongside dispatching. It took off some financial pressure and allowed me to learn dispatching the right way with patience, consistency, and focus on quality service rather than rushing for quick wins. I’m still learning every day, but I’ve seen real progress by staying consistent, asking questions, and connecting with people in communities like this. Dispatching is not easy at the beginning, but it’s definitely rewarding if you commit to the process. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and sharing insights as we all grow together 🤘.

I want to learn more about the trucking industry 2. Become more financially independent 3. To be able to spend more time with my family For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1. Golf 2. Hunting 3. Support my veteran community I’m really excited about this new journey and I look forward to talking and learning from everyone here. Shem

@Karama Abdi growth and forward progression is what it's about

We are able to call brokers now and negotiate a deal. Just talk to your driver first to get off the phone and it's free practice!

@James Binnebose how difficult do you find it to be the go-between of your driver and a broker?
Calls
Hi, I have one question how would I be able to call carriers if I'm outside of the US? How much will cost me to call them and will that be profitable at all?

@Christian Chamboneth I use a Google phone number, it's free and I had my Google number forwarded to my personal cell so when I get calls from my business number I know it's for that.
Hey I hope you guys girls have a nice day

@Oreo Lm I use AI a lot and I think it will help dispatching more. I think it will help dispatchers find loads quicker for drivers leaving them to focus more on driving instead of dealing with brokers.
