Vitamin C
In the classroom I was reading and found “ High dose vitamin C has cured virtually every disease there is, including polio and tetanus.” Long story short I want to know some more on this topic and if holistic doctors would be willing to put vitamin c through an IV for someone with such serious illness. How peaceful it would be know that we could just high dose vitamin c ourselves if we have tetanus and be okay. (I know tetanus is super rare) it almost seems too good to be true so I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around this one.

Traditional MDs can't offer it because of liability issue... because since they would not be following the "standard of care", then their prescribing C would not be defensible in the case of a potential lawsuit. If you are treating someone with a serious illness, there has to be a greater chance that they may not get better, and so that could/would be blamed on not following the "standard of care". Look up the late Dr Robert Cathcart that practiced in Incline, Colorado a number of years ago.

It is also thought that liposomal C is almost just as effective as as IV C. And the benefit is that you don't need a medical professional for oral liposomal C!
Seeking support in New Jersey
Teri Layne • 2m Larry, thank you so much for creating sanctuary for this community. I’m a soon to be grandma whose pregnant 42 yr old daughter is seeking support on this subject. She herself is unvaxed (thanks to me) when it was an easier time (I say easier, not easy!) to get exemptions. We are in New Jersey, which I’m learning is not friendly to our cause. I might get lucky and find a private home for day care when my daughter goes back to work. But the concern is later, when the child will go to public school. This is a great resource to give and receive information. Grateful it exits!

You can get a religious exemption in NJ. I did it for my kids. Schools can't legally challenge that.

Do you have a link for that post? I was having trouble finding it when I looked. Thanks!
Remedies for under 6 months
My baby is 5 months and I know there is the flu and other sickness going around. I would like information on things that a baby can take who is Just breastfed right now. She takes vitamin D daily but is there anything else that she can take if she gets sick? I want to be prepared !

@Tracy Stauffer There are generally 3 types of vitamin C: sodium ascorbate, ascorbic acid, and liposomal C. Liposomal would be the most effective, ascorbic acid would be the next effective form. Sodium ascorbate, which is less effective than the other 2 kinds is used if ascorbic acid upsets the stomach. Ascorbic acid is buffered with another element to do that. Here is link about vitamin C in treating whooping cough...farther down in the article it speaks about dosing of vitamin C in children and breast feeding mothers... http://www.doctoryourself.com/omns/v14n13.shtml
DTaP for kitchen grease burn?
Hello all, so glad I found this group. Just tried to go to the Facebook Group and found out it's banned apparently which let me here. I made a mistake today cooking and burned my hand, hot grease poured off my cast iron when I went to dump and clean it and burned the back part of hand. looks to be about 4 by 4 inches of burn area so I went to my doctor's office 2 hours later - very nice people. They prescribed me to use Manuka honey wound gel and then to use a Mepilex and keep it wrapped. I cleaned it well before hand with just cool water and soap. Just some pain now from the burn. I'm also scheduling a follow up with the local burn clinic just to have it looked at that they recommended. They also recommended that I get a DTaP for Tetanus shot and I was really surprised because I didn't realize that was for burns. I told them I'm very scared of shots and that I need some time to think about it and they did not pressure me, but I got very scared for a moment. The video clips I watched online about DTaP basically talks about it doesn't work and it takes weeks for the antibodies to start working anyways so it wouldn't even help me with this injury. I plan on taking a lot of Vitamin C either way, going to pick up some Vitamin C pills at the local pharmacy. Thanks for any information.

Wow I never heard of a shot for burns!...maybe because the pan was metal/iron? I have heard about vitamins healing burns...topically and as a supplement. Vitamin C, vitamin E, and niacin are the ones that are used for skin healing. That's probably why I noticed that the expensive creams add a little of these vitamins in their products. Here is link to orthomolecular website regarding vitamins for burns and skin. There are other links if you know where to search. http://www.doctoryourself.com/omns/v04n01.shtml
