In our parent's reading workshop, we discussed several ways to enhance reading skills. One was continuing a story... a parent asked how we apply this to non-fiction passages. It was an excellent question, kudos to @Anu Nair who asked this. So I set about finding out the best ways to do this. And welcome, Anu to our flagship OS course.🥳 We are so excited that you have joined it and your child will be taking part in the book club meeting on 26th May! These are my tips...🌟 1. Do some digging on the topic, for example, if it is a passage on climate change, research recent changes in a specific country where climate has remarkably changed and expand on it. 2. Pick a person mentioned in the passage find out more about him/her and write about them. 3. Find out what the future could be for the topic mentioned. For example, if it is about farming, read up about the advances and predictions for the sector and write in your own words...
