Most sales don’t happen on the first try, in fact, 80% of deals close after 5+ follow-ups. If you're only following up once or twice, you're leaving money on the table. Here’s a simple follow-up flow you can automate: 1. Day 1 – Quick intro after the lead comes in. Keep it personal and helpful. 2. Day 3 – Gentle check-in: “Just wanted to make sure you saw my last message.” 3. Day 5 – Add value. Share a quick guide or answer a common question. 4. Day 7 – Invite them to a call or ask what they’re looking for. 5. Day 10 – Final nudge: “Still interested? Happy to help when you’re ready.” Set this up once and let automation handle it while you focus on closing. I used this back when I was a insurance agent, I'm now in the automation industry, but such tips are simple and are often forgotten. I know following up can look annoying, but does it really matter if it works, the important thing is that its proven to work.
