Not gonna lie… I almost gave up on dropshipping in Australia
I tried product research tools, supplier directories, even mimicking trending TikTok stores. But it always felt like I was chasing something that didn’t exist. It wasn't until I took a step back — unplugged from all the "quick fix" advice — and started actually studying buyer behavior and testing local-friendly strategies, that things began to shift.Around that time, I found this group too. Didn't say much at first, just watched. But little by little, I noticed what wasn't being talked about... and that’s when something clicked. These days, I’m running something different from the usual “AliExpress clone store” model. It’s still dropshipping, but way more strategic — and honestly, it feels good seeing real momentum finally.Still learning daily, but this is the first time I’ve felt like I’m building something real and sustainable here in Australia. 🇦🇺Curious to know — what's one thing that finally helped you get unstuck in your ecom journey? 👇Let’s share some real stories — no fluff.

@Monica Wright Thank you so much, Monica! I’m wondering, how can I find products that aren’t already widely available online? I notice that most of what I check is already on Amazon. Any tips would be really appreciated. Also, is it better to start with just one product or launch with several?
What’s the HARDEST Part of Dropshipping for You Right Now?
Let’s be real, dropshipping isn’t as easy as some make it seem. We all hit roadblocks, whether it’s picking the right product, running profitable ads, or dealing with supplier issues. For me, the biggest challenge early on was getting sales. But once I cracked the code, everything changed. So, I’m curious. What’s the hardest part of dropshipping for YOU right now? Drop it in the comments, and let’s figure it out together! Maybe I (or someone else in this community) can help.

The biggest challenge is identifying a winning product and selecting the right market to sell it in.
Make Everyday Count
Hey lovelies, I just felt I should share this with y'all! Don't assume that there are certain challenges that you can't handle, don't assume that there are certain mountains you can't climb, don't assume that there are certain businesses you can't risk, in all, do not ever assume that there are some things in this world that'll bring good growth and financial breakthrough to yourself that you can't do. Today's your day, make it count, make every moment of your day busy, useful and resourceful.

Any idea on how to start a dropshipping business

Start by choosing a niche and setting up a Shopify store. Don’t waste time testing random products — instead, watch ads and use tools like Minea or Dropspy, or free ones like Facebook Ads Library and TikTok Creative Center, to spot winning products. Once you find them, source from suppliers (AliExpress, CJ, etc), import to your store, adjust prices, and focus on marketing with TikTok/Facebook/Instagram ads depend on the nich, demographic. The key is to test and scale what sells. all the best.
