Labor questions
Some women are able to eat during labor and this is going to be my first time in October. Doing a natural birth and wondering what kinds of foods were y'all able to eat during labor? Is smoothie king okay at least since it's a liquid? I don't think I could go 20+ hours without food.

I personally haven't been able to eat much during labor but that's probably because 2 out my 3 kids were born at the hospital. I had such a fast delivery with my first I didn't really have time to eat during labor lol I'd suggest something light but on the more filling side, labor is a helluva lot of work especially if you're going natural. All 3 of my deliveries have been natural, I didn't take any pain meds or anything like that in large part because I don't trust doctors much. It's a very intense experience but it's really empowering when you do it! I won't lie to you, it hurts like a bitch, but it's worth it. I know you've probably heard it before but if you do end up deciding to get some kind of pain relief during labor that's just as valid as going fully naturally, there are people who claim that no one should take the meds but they're spouting bullshit.
