First Cycle Advise
I am currently on testosterone 140/mg weekly for TRT. My clinic offers Anavar (25mg tablets). I am going to get my bloodwork done in a couple weeks. Assuming everything looks good, should I add the Anavar? I am currently 195lbs and 5’-8” and trying to get down to 180lbs. PS, I am already taking Mounjaro for T2D. Let me know your thoughts. TIA.

Are your lipids in range? As a T2D myself I know that this can be a part of the struggle. I made sure that mine were doing well before hopping on anything else besides Test. My first step was also to bump my test before I ever added another compound. I slowly went to 200, my next blood work showed levels as stable and doing great, and the felt increase was there in the gym. Then I went up from there to where I am currently at 300mg a week. Its a fairly good indicator of how you're going to respond to a heavier androgenic load. Anavar is easier than most orals but it is still and oral and if your lipids are not already dialed in it can ruin them fairly easy. For the longest time I had great LDL but very suppressed HDL. The key for me was getting the macros and training dialed in. This bumped my HDL up. Also I added L-Carnitine before adding another androgenic. 1ml per day at 600mg/ml has done some pretty amazing things. It ups lipolysis and increases androgen receptor density. I did this while on that base of 140mg per week, and continue to still use it. A word of caution, the 600mg/ml can give some pip because it is water based and quite thick. Subq isnt really a thing with L-carnitine, Im sure some do it, but I cannot imagine the sting there. If you are running Mounjaro, what is your weekly dose? Sometimes even a .5mg bump in dosage can help you drop that weight. It might be worth considering a 10mg vial of RUO so that you can give your self the bump that you need to drop more. This has been a part of my journey as well. Just some thoughts, I hope they help!

@Zach Vandiver Good for you man! It is really smart to hold off until after labs. It will also give you a clear view of where your numbers are at the moment. The L-Carnitine is great stuff. There is research that suggest that it really hits best when you admin it along side a meal that comes with a significant Insulin hit. So my protocol is to eat some quick acting carbs post workout, that way I get the insulin bump which shuttles not only the carbs but also the L-Carnitine into the muscle cells. I've done this without significantly increasing my post meal glucose levels. The more muscle you build, the bigger the glucose sink you have. Its an amazing solution to the T2D.
PCT while on TRT
I am planning for my first cycle of NPP. I plan to run it at a 1:2 with my TRT 100NPP/210Test Cyp. It is for sure on the mild side of things but I am dipping my feet in the water here. I went with NPP because it lines up with several goals of mine. Since I am on TRT and do not plan on getting off, and my current numbers without NPP are doing well, do I need to add any compounds during PCT or do the supplements help enough? Of course I know this is all dependent on bloodwork too. Any help would be appreciated.

HDL Pre Cycle
I just did my first bloodwork pre cycle and my HDL was slightly low at 35, this was my only marker out of range. Is this a concern to the point where I should not start the cycle?

You could take Niacin (Vitamin B3), Pantethine (B5 Derivative), Policosanol, Omega-3 Fatty Acids (Fish Oil), or Citrus Bergamot. At therapeutic doses all will have a positive impact on your HDL. Run the as aggressively as you can as a hedge against your cycle maybe. Niacin is particularly powerful here but you can’t use the no-flush stuff. It’s best at night and extended release. Warning it will flush the hell out of you. At therapeutic doses 2g mark especially. Most people never move above the 250mg mark and still don’t like the flush. But the impact to HDL is positive and real.just now running my first cycle but have had this stuff in for a long time already. I’m hopeful that it will help keep my numbers on the better side of thins.

First Cycle for Beginner
What is a good cycle for a first time beginner? I am already on TRT with HCG. Not really sure where to start, but hoping to try my first cycle of something “beginner friendly”.

I am not an expert at all! I can share my plans though. After some research I decided on NPP. I am currently on 210mg of Test Cyp. per week, and boat load of peptides for various reasons. I plan to run the NPP at a 1:2 ratio with the Test. I chose this route after reading about he joint/pain relief. I've delt with a torn labrum for about three years and it has really gotten in the way of my back, chest and shoulder growth. I'm currently in PT and still working those areas, but the research on the benefits here is very compelling. My baseline numbers are also in a place where I am not too worried about them going the wrong direction. I also supplement with all the things so to speak. TUDCA, Milk Thistle, CoQ10, and P5P, as well as a few others that I can't remember off the top of my head. So with those bases covered I am set to start my cycle as soon as my compound arrives. The plan is to run a 12 week cycle. My next blood work should hit around week 6. The other reason I chose NPP as opposed to Deca is that it clears the system quicker, but also comes to level serum wise faster. My plan is to keep my same schedule with the TRT and dose daily. I hope this helps point you in some sort of direction. This fits my goals and needs so it was a logical choice after doing the research, make sure you do your own here too!
