To Email or Not To Email? - What's You Take on This?
When I started my sports mindset coaching business I relied on emails to connect more deeply with my audience. Majority of them were reading my emails, applying the lessons, but not many signing up to my coaching program. Since I opened this community, I stopped using emails, because Skool has this function built in, and I've found that I am using too many platforms and software for a "1 man business". But... Tonight I had a discussion with Jen Hill Myers and she explained to me all the benefits that I might be missing from using emails as part of my client nurturing and attraction system - and I think that now I have changed my mind... What is your view/opinion on using email marketing - or just email to connect with your audience, outside Skool? Are you using it? or are you considering using it?

I'm using my email list more to work on getting people to my community. It's honestly something I just started doing after 25 years in business. So, I agree with Jen & Kate just made a great post on this too 👆.

@Kate Capelli you said it way better than I just did 🤣
What Season Are You In?
Ok ok... I know it is winter and Christmas is around the corner... BUT What season are you in in your business? Do you have this clear in your mind? Do you know anything about business seasons? Are you aware how they affect your work, your focus, your results... and you personally too? If you check the "business encyclopaedia" you will find various names and depths of business seasons... but, to simplify things, these are the main 4 seasons: 1️⃣ Foundation Season (for clarity & setup) This is where everything begins, your starting point... but... this is the season where people often rush. In this season you: - Clarify your offer - Understand who you help - Set simple systems that get your business up and running But, in this season, there is a lot of deep and heavy thinking. During this time you have no visibility, and growth feels like it's never happening. And the biggest mistake that beginners do (and I think we've all done this) is trying to sell before anything makes sense😬 2️⃣ Growth Season (for visibility & connection) This is the season most people think they should be in all the time (especially those with a negative inner critic or impostor syndrome) ...but shouldn’t. In this season you: - Show up and do the hard work daily (even if you don't see much results) - Build trust with your audience and others - Connect and create relationships And again, one of the biggest mistakes that we make here is trying to monetise too soon and sharing too many offers that overwhelm our audience. And... since we are all here on Skool and we are chasing the 🔥, the high ranking, the improved analytics and so on... this is also the moment when we risk burning out by overdoing it. 3️⃣ Monetisation Season (or simply put Selling😁) Believe it or not, this is a short, intentional season, not a constant state. In this season you: - Invite people to work with you (think CTA) - Talk clearly about your offer (creating specific content) - Make more offers

@Alexandra Alexa Thanks!
What do you guys think or do?
So, today I started the day like all other days, with my coffee and Skool... But today something feels off... I can't focus and my mind is blank... Normally I am going through other posts, see what is new, interesting, anything good to learn and apply, or if anyone has a question that I can help with... But today nothing makes sense in my mind... I just read and can't think... So I made the decision to move away from Skool for now and go to the gym... but a thought hit me that I have to do the minimum... but even the minimum feels hard. And now, the coach side of me is saying the same thing I am saying over and over again to all of my athletes: Clearly the mind and body need some rest... the more time you spend on pushing it through, the less time you have to rest and recover, you will feel even more tired and then you will need even more time to recover... So Instead of keep pushing it through and doing a bad job, that get's you nothing valuable... just go and rest and then get back with a fresh mind and better thinking. Do you guys recognise when is time to stop and rest, or do you push through moments like these?

I remember a 100 years ago aka the mid 90’s I went to powerlifting and I just wasn’t feeling it. My coach noticed this and said something like this to me “On days like this just show up and see if you can shake it if not pack it up and head home. No big deal so long as it’s not a bunch of days in a row.”
