I’m a little late on this one but here are my sunglasses! 😎

Alright, here‘s my contribution to this weeks prompts. Besides the shelf I‘ve included all of them, sunglasses, friendly (the world looks more friendly with pink glasses on of course and when they‘re even heart-shaped, nothing can go wrong. ✨) and pastel (at least in the background.) 😇

Hey everyone and happy Monday! It's time to announce the new prompt for this week, and guess what? My wonderful intern @Peter Schneider (aka husband) has made something for me! He has developed a Drawing Prompt Generator iOS app for me, how cool is that?! From now on we will be using the app to generate our weekly prompts, so even I don't have to sweat and think of something we could draw. 😇 And the best part, you can even choose the challenge level! Relaxed: 1 prompt (a simple "what" --> green) Easy: 2 prompts (a "what" and a "where" --> pink) Medium: 3 prompts (a "what", a "where", and a "mood"! --> yellow) Full wonky chaos: 4 prompts ("what", "where", "mood", AND color suggestion! 😇 --> red) You can interpret them however you like. Digital, traditional, quick sketch, finished illustration, tiny doodle, dramatic masterpiece, suspicious little blob with personality — all welcome. The goal is not to make something perfect. The goal is to show up, play a little and see where the prompts take you. Feel free to share your sketch or finished piece in the community whenever you’re ready. I can’t wait to see what you make! I thought I’d share a little something I finished last night… I’ve been doing an art challenge on Instagram and the final prompt was the tower of Pisa and I thought I would turn it into one of those silly tourist vacation Polaroids, where people pretend to be holding the tower up 😂 and super wonkified! 🤣😍🙌🏻💯 Jutta has inspired me to let go of the pursuit of perfection and I’m loving it!

This is what evolved in today‘s live session. I am not loving it, I‘d probably tweak a few things if I were to use it further, but I learned a lot from it: - how a checkerboard pattern acts in a seamless repeat (it‘s interesting!) - Wonky shapes work in a seamless repeat - You can create wonky shapes that still look quite realistic - I like purple & blue-green with others, but not in my art. 🤷🏼‍♀️ - I still love chocolate, and even drawing them makes me hungry - Nougat is still „nougat“ in English - Drawing with you is a lot of fun! ❤️ What I would tweak: (I want to share this part too, because I think it’s one of the most important lessons. If something feels off in your artwork, don’t just think “I don’t like it”. Try to figure out why. Once you know what bothers you, you can change it, learn from it, and get better every time.) - there‘s too much going on in the background, I‘d probably go back to a plain background with a subtle pattern - I‘d put more effort in in moving single chocolates around to achieve a less „orderly“ pattern, right now it‘s still too stiff. That‘s a huge learning outcome for a „little bit of togethersketching“, isn‘t it? 😇 Would you like to see me continue working on this piece and show you what I would change until it feels right to me? 🤔
