Had a fun weekend celebrating joint birthdays.

I purchased a stunning blue orchid from the Muttart Conservatory for my Mom because it was in her favorite colour. It was perfect…until the original blooms faded. When the new blossoms arrived, the 'magic' wore off: it turns out the orchid had been dyed, and it was actually a beautiful, classic white all along! A bit of a surprise, but a gift that keeps on giving (even if it changed colors on us).
