How Networking Landed Me Interviews (and Why I’m Excited to Share More)
When I first started my job search, my main goal was simple: stop sending endless online applications and start actually getting interviews. Like a lot of people here, I wanted a way to stand out, connect directly with hiring managers, and feel confident in interviews. Over the last few months, I’ve been focusing on building genuine relationships on LinkedIn, reaching out to decision-makers before applying, and practising my interview stories. What I’ve noticed is: - More hiring managers are actually responding to me - Interviews that feel like conversations instead of interrogations - A faster path from first contact to offer The best part? It lines up perfectly with what this community is about: learning to get a job via networking, crushing the interview, and finally getting paid what we’re worth. I’d love to hear from you: What’s been your biggest win so far in your job search journey? Where are you still feeling stuck, outreach, interviews, or negotiating offers? Would you like me to share the exact scripts and steps that have been working for me? Let’s swap strategies and help each other land our next great role.

The Turning Point That Changed Everything
When I first started my digital venture, I faced one obstacle after another, dead ends, failed strategies, and moments where I questioned if I was cut out for this. It was exhausting, and for a while, it felt like progress was impossible. Everything changed when I got the right guidance. Connecting with someone who had already navigated the challenges I was facing helped me see a clear path forward. Suddenly, what seemed overwhelming became manageable, and I started making consistent progress. It completely shifted not just my results, but also how I approach challenges every day. I want this post to be a space where we share lessons, support each other, and learn together. So here’s my question to all of you: Is there an area in your job search or daily routine where you feel stuck and could use guidance? What’s the one thing you need help with right now to move forward? Drop your thoughts, I’d love to exchange insights and maybe help you find that breakthrough that changes everything.

@Azhar Ahmed, Thank you for sharing that so openly! I can completely relate to the challenge of turning outreach into meaningful conversations. What’s been working really well for me lately is creating a simple weekly outreach plan where I focus on building genuine relationships with a small, targeted group of people rather than trying to connect with everyone at once. That shift alone has made my messaging clearer and my follow-ups much easier to manage. Out of curiosity, when it comes to refining how you present yourself, what part feels trickiest right now: your profile, your messaging, or how you approach people? And are you working on any specific offers or services at the moment that you’re trying to position?
