At one point I believed that it was inconsistent because I was comparing the scriptures not only against themselves, but also against the worlds instinctual and natural progressions like money/math/sciences/arts/religions/etc. After reading what Jesus said in the garden as he was about to be taken away knowing what pain and horror awaited Him it made me realize that his “last words”, if you will, were all about the enemy being in God as He was in God and God was in Him. That “oneness” ended up being the glue to connect the whole Bible and connect the human condition etc. and made it no longer contradict itself.
