Need advice getting an app to work with multiple dealer platforms
Without getting too specific, I work for a dealership. I created an agentic app using claude code to assist in doing a task that usually could take me days to complete, down to a couple hours or less. A consultant suggested that I package and offer it to other dealers (as a SaaS product) because so many dealers have the same issue and it can save their company tons of time and money and it could be a lucrative product. The issue that I'm running into that I need help with is this. I currently have the app able to produce a desired outcome and automatically publish that outcome on my dealership website because I have access to that website and claude can see it, plan around it and test it. However, there are dozens, if not more, website hosts and inventory management systems that dealers use that I don't have access to. How can I make it so the app can work with inventory management system to produce the same results and automate this task, if I have no way to test it? TiA for any feedback. I know it's vague and I'm happy to answer whatever questions needed to get help that doesn't require giving away exactly what it's doing.

@Preet Patel great feedback. Thank you so much. Can you expand on the idea of an "internal data model"? What do you mean by that?

@Vedant Heda thank you for re-itertaing the previous comment. It truly gives me confidence that that's the best move. Thank you again for the advice.
Gmail Live Artifact
I built a live artifact in Co-work that scans my starred emails in Gmail, turns them into a To-do list and writes out actionable summaries of them on a daily basis that I can refresh anytime. Also added a manual way to add to the list and check things off throughout the day. It's been SO helpful in helping me manage my day and ensure important things don't fall through the cracks!

@Estevao Sabio thank you. It will actually evolve with the email chain. So if it starts out as "follow up on something "your manager" wanted you to do, then I respond to her and she asks me a follow up question or gives me an additional task related to that, it will update the actionable task to match what's current.

@Estevao Sabio love that! Already loving this community!
how you can get ur first client ?
As someone who has been trying to learn AI automation for over 5 months β€” I've built many workflows and watched a lot of learning videos β€” I still haven't found a way to get my first client. Even most of the YouTube videos about 'getting your first client' feel like they're just promoting something else. So for the people who have already gotten clients: how did you get your first client?and whats the best way to get clients if u can pick one way And at that moment, did you already know everything about AI automation, or were you still on your way learning β€” and making mistakes was the best way to learn?

My partner and I started by reaching out to friends and family who own businesses and seeing what we can do to help them with their business grow. From there, it's word of mouth.

Two paths into AI work (which one is yours?)
Most YouTubers show you a single path into AI work: start an automation agency β†’ take clients β†’ sell automations. It works. I know because I built an AI automation agency and sold it. But it's not the only way in, and for a lot of you it's not even the best one. I made this video to break down the two real paths: The AI Career Opportunity Nobody is Talking About in 2026 Here's the quick version: Path AΒ is the agency play. You go independent, take clients, build your own practice. Path BΒ is the employment play. You become the most AI-fluent person in the room, and that's who companies want to hire or promote for AI work. If you're already employed, you become the obvious pick when an AI role opens. If you're looking to get hired, or move somewhere better, you walk in with real work instead of just claims. It's the less obvious path, but it's actually the more common one. The employment numbers (see the video) are shocking actually. Watch the full breakdown in the video. Then do one thing for me in the comments because I'm super curious: Tell me which path you are on. A, B, or both. And one line or so on why. I'll be reading these. Nate

An old friend of mine, who were previously college roommates and business partners, have recently began a small company, who will be helping our business owner friends, who are less tech savvy, develop AI automation tools to help their businesses grow. I'm still a beginner in this world but excited to grow with everyone and learn from this community. @Nate Herk has been so helpful in grasping the concepts and technical side of everything. Any and all advice is welcome!
