4 contributions to GRC Career Path
Great News!
55 members today. Appreciate everyone who’s joined so far. I don’t want to keep adding resources JUST to add resources (lol). I want the next thing I build here to solve an actual problem for you. So if you're serious about this, please see below. Reply with one number: 1. I need stronger GRC resume bullets and better ways to explain my experience 2. I need hands-on practice with control testing, audit evidence, and documentation 3. I need a clearer path into a GRC, IT audit, risk, or compliance role 4. I’m already in the field and want to get better at TPRM, risk assessments, or audit work 5. Something else. Tell me what you’re stuck on in one sentence I’ll use the responses to decide what GRC Lab 002 or the next practical resource should cover.

Modules 0–7 are now open: where to start
Hey everyone, I removed the time restrictions on Modules 0–7, so you can now access them whenever you're ready. Everything in those modules is available to all members. If you're new, start with Module 0. It's a short orientation to how the community and projects work. After that, here's where to go based on what you need: - Understand GRC roles and the fundamentals: Modules 1–2. - Learn frameworks and SOC 2: Module 3. - Practice control testing and build a simulated portfolio: Modules 4–5. - Turn your project into resume bullets and interview examples: Module 6. - Choose target roles, certifications, and a job-search plan: Module 7. - Find the free resume template and supporting resources: GRC Resource Library in the Classroom. Open the Classroom here: https://www.skool.com/grc-career-path-4325/classroom In the Community tab, use GRC Questions for questions about the work, Career Reviews for resume and career feedback, and Jobs + Opportunities for the job posts. You don't need to finish everything at once. Pick one lesson that addresses what you're working on, complete its action step, and click “Mark as done” so your progress is recorded. If you're unsure where to start, comment on this announcement with your target role and one specific thing you're stuck on. I'll help point you toward a useful next step. Winton

Updated: GRC Resume Template Access
A few members joined before the resume template was available to everyone, so I’ve updated the access and moved it into the new GRC Resource Library. You can now find the template here: Classroom → GRC Resource Library → GRC Resume Template + Resume Booster Or access it directly here: NEW GRC RESUME BOOSTER HERE The Resume Booster includes: - A GRC-focused resume template - Tips for tailoring your resume to specific roles - Guidance for writing stronger GRC experience bullets - Examples for career changers and experienced GRC professionals - Skills and certification guidance - Hands-on project examples for SOC 2, IAM, and third-party risk - Guidance on clearly separating portfolio projects from professional experience Important: Make your own copy before editing. The original template is kept view-only so everyone has access to a clean version. This resource is for GRC Career Path members and is intended for personal career use. Please, don’t redistribute or resell it. I’ll also be adding more free resources to the GRC Resource Library, including framework guides, certification resources, interview prep, and job-search tools.
